Trying to play Skyrim with Tartarus Pro and Utechsmart's Venus Pro Wireless mouse.

As soon as I start up Skyrim my mouse stops working but my keypad and keyboard on my laptop still function. I am very much so, open to suggestions and would also appreciate it very much. Title contains the specifics. Thank You in advance Adam S
