Unable to assign macros to my keyboard.

Using synapse 3. I created a macro that presses one key, then uses a scroll wheel. I can assign any macro i want to my mouse, but I am unable to assign to my keyboard. Doesn’t show an error or anything. Just a loading thing that goes on for infinity. (pictured) How could I assign this macro? The key isn’t being used for anything.
