My Basilisk V3 Pro which has been working up until the software update to 20231207 this morning, is now displaying 0% for the battery in red and I can’t load any profiles nor adjust my DPI if I am using Hyperspeed Wireless. I see that there are tons of others experiencing the same issue. I updated my firmware. Uninstalled and re-installed clean. The issue persists.

Before you ask me to do a clean install or gather logs, this was working fine until today’s update.

  • I have already done a clean install.
  • Fresh install of Windows
  • This just started today.
  • I have a Death Stalker V2 Pro Keyboard that works fine.
  • This is not OS related I doubt hardware being this mouse is maybe a week old and was working until today’s update.

I am having a similar issue with my Razer Basilisk Ultimate.

  • Synapse Mouse Tab shows 0% battery and not displaying charging status
  • Changing DPI doesn’t show a notification, but moving the mouse does demonstrate that DPI changed
  • I have latest firmware for the mouse
  • Mouse still works with wireless/wired connections, and probably still charges, but there is no feedback from Synapse as described above

same issue here.

Viper Ultimate and naga pro user here. Same issue after the update.

Same
Last update broke everything, barely usable cause profiles are not working and every 10 minutes or so everything just goes crazy
I swear once they fix it I will disable the autoupdate feature

Same here with Basilisk Ultimate.

I thought my mouse broke, but when I force close all the synapse app, the lightning went to green when I place on dock as it should be, when I run the synapse again and place my mouse on dock, the color of lightning won’t go to green when I place on dock, but it does charge, just the synapse cannot get the battery level info from mouse, the software is slow and buggy too, certainly the worst update even since.

I am sure the contact is clean, latest synapse version and latest mouse firmware.

same thing is happen after the update.. battery show 0% in my razer viper ultimate..

I have the same issue Basilisk V3 Pro with the latest softer update..

Same issue with my Viper Ultimate.  At least it’s not just me with a problem computer.

After todays update Synapse is showing Red 0 Battery.  Synapse software doesn’t control mouse and sometimes doesn’t even see the mouse..  Called into support right away and opened a ticket.  Did the uninstall,- reinstall etc. with tech suuport and sent them all log files.

The Viper Ultimate Dock does show up in Synapse.

Wish we could roll back to prior versions.

Same issue with my Naga Pro after the update. Battery showing 0 percent. Unless I am using wired mode, wireless still works but keeps disconnecting for second or so.

Same issue on my viper ultimate

Same…..

Other Razer devices work properly with Synapse.

Same….

after updated to 20231207 My viper v2 pro with hyperpolling wireless dongle only provide 1000hz, not 8000hz / 4000hz any more ...

The same thing, 0% charge on razer viper ultimate.Synapse is a great software.... I checked, switching the dpi step from the application does not work either, only with the button on the bottom.

Same here. Deathadder V2 Pro showing 0% after a fresh synapse install as well.

same issue here, both my basilisk v3 pro and my old basilisk ultimate has the battery status and profiles not taking effect issue after the update.

Adding my name to this list, glad I found this post I was going nutty. Deathadder V2 Pro. It used to show the battery percentage in the top right corner on the dashboard and when I click on the mouse it will show 0% battery. But when I plug it in through usb it’ll show the battery percentage at 98% lol. Happy to know its not just me. Hopefully this gets fixed soon as I just picked up a deathstalker v2 keyboard thats coming in tomorrow :(

Attn Razer plz fix

Same for me

Update: I’ve found a way to temporarily fix this issue by restoring your system, which means you will switch back to previous version of Synapse. Now my mouse is showing battery percentage and I can control all the functions of my mouse.

P.S: Turn off Synapse Auto Update and when this issue is resolved update it then...

i have the same issue with the Razer Vper Ultimate Mecury edition .
It constantly shows 0 percent . I tried reinstalling everything but nothing works.

Please Help me
