USB C to HDMI not working with 2nd monitor

Hello, I currently have one monitor hooked up to my 2020 Razer Blade Laptop via an HDMI to HDMI cable. When I tried to hook up an additional monitor using a docking station connected to USB C the signal could not be detected. When I tried to connect the second monitor with a USB C to HDMI cable it also did not work. From what I've gathered the laptop should support a second monitor via the usb c port, but I cannot get it to work.
