Using Razer Kiyo with MacBook Air?

Hi, I just bought a Razer Kiyo to use with a second monitor I have coming next week, which will be running off my MacBook Air. The computer only has 2 USB-C ports. How do I use the Kiyo with my MacBook, considering it's a regular USB connection? It doesn't turn on when I plug it into the dongle. TIA.

I ordered it online, so I wasn't able to see the box before it arrived. I also did some research to ensure it's usable on a Mac, which it is, but the camera would not turn on at all. I even tried to plug it into a PC and it wouldn't turn on. So I think the fault is with the actual device. I've ordered another one to try again and am returning the defective one. I have a ring light and yes, the camera on the MacBook Air is fine, but I have a new, second, bigger monitor that I wanted to attached the Kiyo to. The MacBook Air has some pretty loud fan noise when I have Zoom running for a while (I do interviews for my podcast) so one of the reasons I got the second monitor was because I want to have my laptop away from my mic to limit the background noise, and to do that, I needed a webcam to put on the new monitor. Hopefully it was just that particular device being defective and the next one will actually turn on...
Well,
you should have read the System Requirements on the box. The Razer Kiyo needs a Windows PC :frown_:.
The Razer Synapse Software requires Windows. Maybe there is a third party driver available...

I feel your pain... I would love to have some of my Razer devices run on my M1Max Macbook Pro, but I have little hope this will happen any time soon.

Look on the bright side: The new MacBook models have a decent WebCam. If you really want to have that perfect lightning, go for a ringlight.
The installer app also doesn't work on my MacBook Air.....
