Using Razer Naga and Tartarus Pro on a macOS device | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I’m considering buying a MacBook with an M1 or M2 processor. I’d like to game on it (primarily World of Warcraft) and I’d like to use my Razer Naga and Tartarus Pro with it.

I’ve read that Synapse 2.0 supports macOS, but I can’t find my devices listed on the page listing supported devices for Synapse 2. I am running Synapse 3 on my Windows 11 PC - my Razer devices work perfectly on that computer and OS.

So my question is this: Will my Razer Naga and Tartarus Pro work on this MacBook with an M1/M2 processor, running the latest macOS? And by running, I mean: Will Synapse 2.0 enable the devices to install on the MacBook and enable me to remap the keys?

Short answer is no.

Synapse 2 is for Legacy Devices that u see on this website other than that, is on newer versions of Synapse.

Ur Mice Razer Naga might works (idk which version the one u had) as for Tartarus Pro only works for Synapse 3.

Thank you for your reply. I hope that Razer will support Apple Silicon in the near future.

No worried mate !

oh yea one more thing, It's not Razer that is not trying to support IOS , but the other way around. Apple doesnt want to sign a contract with Razer. It's best for IOS users to put more pressure in Apple forum. You are not the first. I really suggest you to have your voice and bring others to do so. and hope in the near future Apple will decide to sign a contract with Razer
Macbooks are good devices, and the new M2 chips are really good. I have had mine for a year, and I love using it. It's fast, and it's perfect in most situations. The only annoying thing is the compatibility with some apps. They might solve that in the future, but I don't see it happening soon. I'm glad I can use chrome because I never liked Safari.

If you get over the compatibility thing, Macbook is an awesome machine. It will last a long time if you keep it clean, and even if you decide to sell it, you can get a good amount of money. There's always someone looking for an old, cheaper Macbook.
