So I bought my razer 17 pro 2019 about a month ago and it came without a SSD. So I installed windows and started installing drivers from razer's website.
I installed all the important ones first, but right from the very start I couldn't connect to the Internet even after installing the WiFi driver, I was using my old laptop for the downloads then transferring via thumbdrive.
My router is far and in a closet, so I brought in my wifi extender which is usually in my shop and I plugged it in right next to my laptop then plugged in a Ethernet cord. Immediately the WiFi popped up when it didn't before and I was able to get connection from the cat cable or WiFi but only from the extender.
So thinking that's how the laptop recognized the connection; I ordered a long cat 6 cable to connect to my router, when it arrived I had Ethernet connection but it still wouldn't recognize WiFi.
So I started heavily troubleshooting drivers and adapters etc, like disabling and enabling again. I reset network settings which made things worse because now I cannot connect by Ethernet.
I started downloading different driver programs to find missing drivers and it seemed like that would fix it because there was like 18 drivers out of date and some were related to Internet, still didn't work. So now I can only connect WiFi to my extender.
