Viper Ultimate Mouse on iOS without software support...


Razer,

bought a Ultimate Razer mouse for my 12 year old son, who is a big fan of Razer. This was his (our) first purchase. Unfortunately, the whole experience turned out to be disappointing.
We installed Synapse 2, but the software didn't recognise any mouse.

I have contacted the online chat support (phone isn't available) only to be informed that Synapse 2 doesn't recognise this mouse, since it has been replaced by Synapse 3, BUT Synapse 3 is not yet available for iOS. Really?!

The whole point of buying a $200+ mouse is to enjoy all its software features. Such a great letdown.
1) Either you clearly indicate that this mouse is not supported by iOS -> then I would not have bought it
2) Make sure you release Windows and iOS version at the same time
3) Continue to update Synapse 2 until the new version becomes available.

Now this mouse is neither supported by Synapse 2 nor 3. This is very unprofessional.
Besides this I have asked the customer support for a refund, and he transferred me to another service officer, who never picked up the chat (not even after 40 min). Is this really the kind of product and service standard you want to provide to your customer?

Really greatly disappointed.
