Viper V3 Hyperspeed Disconnecting on Lift and Drop – Tried All Fixes

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with my Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed. It consistently disconnects or loses tracking whenever I lift and then place the mouse back down. This happens even during light, natural movements in games. It instantly resumes once I move it again, but the stutter causes serious issues during gameplay.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

  • Updated to the latest firmware via Razer’s official tool

  • Changed batteries (multiple brands, all fresh)

  • Tested on different surfaces and mousepads

  • Switched USB ports and tried both front and back panel

  • Moved the dongle closer using an extension cable

  • Checked for signal interference

  • Reinstalled Synapse and did a clean driver install

None of these resolved the issue.

I’ve seen this being posted before so it seems like it is a known issue.

Hi @SubTempesT1,

Can you download the USB HyperSpeed Dongle Utility and follow the steps from this link? Please also send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and check for applicable workarounds that might address the sensor issue you're currently experiencing.
