Viper V3 Pro Hyperspeed | Razer Insider

Hello. I am interested in buying the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed. The huge problem is, that it comes with a AA battery slot instead of its own inbuild battery.

Does it have a battery included in the box at purchase? Is it single use or rechargable? What about the 280 hour autonomy? Is it just pure advertistment or can it be achieved?

AA battery included. It’s single use.

But you can use rechargeable ones.

I think it’s achievable - but it largely depends on the battery that you’re using. Also dunno what’s Razer’s test parameters - what battery did they used or which polling rate did they choosed for Hyperspeed.

I’ve tested few mouses and for eg. Orochi V2 - Razer advertized up to 950h on BT and up to 425h on Hyperspeed (AA battery). From my tests (on AA Duracell battery) it was around 936h on BT so very similar and about 278 hours on Hyperspeed set to 1000Hz (1ms) - probably if it was set on 500Hz or less it’ll be also close to their advertisement.

Hello. FiszPL  the AA Duracell Battery was a strong one, or something normal from any store? I was looking into EBL  2800 mah and and 1100 Panasonic.

Do you know what kind of batter size? R3 R6?

Just a standard Duracell battery from the store. It’s not too powerful, there are plenty of better (and also cheaper) batteries, but this is available in almost shop, so I just chosen this one to test my Razer battery mouses.

R6 = AA ← this only will fit Viper V3 Hyperspeed (unless you want less weight and use AAA with adapter).

R3 = AAA
