viper v4 downshifting

So far, I've waited through 4 firmware updates and yet dpi downshifting has not been patched and a workaround has not been provided, I also haven't even seen much discussion of it. Is there any hope, or should I look to rma/sell right away?

    I too have been waiting for over couple months. spoke to razer support created a ticket and still no fix provided. Razer support did acknowledge the issue. If this issue isnt fixed by V5 im returning the mouse. The dead zoning due to the downshift is absolutely noticeable. its a disgrace razer it has taken this long to ressolve.
