I am wondering if the warranty would extend to damage caused by pets, and if not, would it be possible to replace a cable from a headset or would I need to buy a tottaly new headset?

External damage is not covered by standard limited warranty. You can extend it by buying Razer Care plan - but this is not available in all countries as far as I know.
