Every once in awhile my mouse will randomly stop working and it’s because Synapse has turned my mouse to save power after 0 minutes of idle time. It will go idle while I’m actively moving the mouse because of this. When this happens I have to continuously plug my mouse in and out of my pc to hopefully get a long enough window to manually change the setting myself before the mouse turns back off. If it turns back off I’m unable to change the mouse’s settings as the window for my mouse disappears. I’ve looked into it online and haven’t found similar issues happening to others.if anyone could tell me why this is happening that’d be great

Synapse is bugged, it does a similar thing to my Joro keyboard where it either turns it off completely in power saving mode or turns off the lighting.

Opened a ticket 3 days ago and got the standard answer of “we’re aware and working on it”.

My Joro keyboard does the same thing where the Dim light resets to 5 min and Power saving to 10. Whenever I play with a combination of mouse+key and controller I just set the joro to power saving by pressing Fn+Esc and that prevents it from disconnecting anymore.. the only downside is the light turns off but hey.. more battery life I guess… it’s actually been about 2 weeks since the last charge where under normal operation I would have to charge it twice a week.

My razer deathadder v2 has been doing this for a year aswell, with synapse 4 and all firmware and drivers are uptodate. I found a reddit thread with many razer users reporting the same issue and pointed out the problem there. Theres been no solution from razer via a driver update yet and there never will be.
perhaps its a windows setting thats causing the driver to behave this way, or maybe they programmed it to malfunction so you think you need to buy a new device. No fix has been issued and no issue has been acknowledged, it sounds like a problem across the board with their wireless products thats been going on for years. perhaps there is a cfg file for the driver that we can just set to read only so that nothing can alter it. This should not be happening, a regaular cheap wireless product from a no name store would not malfunction like this, yet a gaming gear leader proudly sells products that do not work for their most basis purpose. The synapse software is terrible, it cannot even perform profile switching based on the running application consistantly so why is that a feature if it just doesnt work most of the time. very disapointed in razer the last decade has been downhill.
