why isnt my controller turning on

It hasn’t done this ever mind you but I recently came to see my girlfriend where she lives and I brought my Xbox and my controller so I can game while she’s off working. Well I set everything up and my controller will not power on. It’s a wired razer v3 to be more precise. It won’t turn on at all and it worrying me because I don’t think I have a warranty on it anymore

I understand that your controller suddenly not power on. May i ask what’s the model of your device? Please try the troubleshooting below to isolate the problem.

  • Make sure your controller is fully charged (for wireless connection).

    1. If the controller won't power on at all, place the controller onto the charging stand.

    2. Make sure the stand is plugged into a power outlet and is receiving power.

    3. Charge for at least 3 hours to fully recharge the battery pack, then try powering on again.

  • Connect your controller to the console with a USB cable.

    1. Use a USB-C to USB-A cable to connect the controller to your gaming console.

    2. Plug the USB-C end into the top of the controller.

    3. Plug the USB-A end into the USB slot on the front or back of the console.

    4. The cable will provide both power and a wired connection to the controller.

  • Connect it to a different USB port (for wired connection).

  • Update your controller through the gaming console's settings/dashboard (check console's user guide).

    • Remove all accessories/devices connected to the console when updating firmware.

  • Power cycle your gaming console (check console's user guide).

  • Connect wirelessly and test your controller (for wireless connection).

  • Connect and test your Razer controller on a different gaming console.
