I acquired the Razer Viper V3 Pro recently and have been getting the same issue as many others in posts like: https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/win10-dual-monitor-issue-with-razer-mouse-dragging-windows-20963 and https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/win10-dual-monitor-issue-with-razor-mouse-54248?tid=54248&fid=45, but the fixes from the first one did not help with my issue. Hope to get some help with this, since it’s very frustrating to suffer from losing a basic windows functionality due to a mouse.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi, can you check the positioning of the second monitor in windows settings?

Hi, the positioning is not the problem, sinceit’s the same as it was with my old Logitech mouse as well, and had no problems with that one. The mouse moves freely without problems to the left monitor and back to the right monitor. The problem occurs, when I am trying to drag an app, let’s say chrome, to my left monitor from the right monitor. The only way to move it to the left side is to aggresively flick it on the other monitor. When sliding it normally towards the left monitor it snaps on the left corner of the screen and does not continue to the left monitor. There was no problem like this with the old mouse.

Hope this clarifies this a bit.

Hmmm, alright ill try to replicate this issue and come back to you ;)

Could you please attempt to uninstall Synapse completely and observe if the mouse’s behavior remains unchanged? Alternatively, you could install a virtual machine and ascertain if the issue persists in that environment.

Im also seeking a remedy to this issue for a Viper V2 Pro Mouse I bought recently.  I have tried the original suggestions and tried uninstalling the software with no change to how the mouse is working.  In the original post there was a mention of going into the mouse  settings but I can not find the section it refers to to check that setting.

Thanks!

I’ve just received my new Deathadder wired mouse and came across the same issue. From what I expereinced, the issue is caused by the mouse using a polling rate higher than 1000Hz (the higher the sestting, the worse it is). I’m guessing windows struggles to handle it, but once I set the polling rate back to 1000Hz in synapse the issue goes away. It is a bit strange, but can be worked around with different profiles for desktop/games so the mouse will go back to the higher polling rate in the games that can utilise it. Hope this helps
