Win10 Dual Monitor issue with Razer Mouse (dragging windows) | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I tried searching the forums for any kind of posts about it but came up empty... and if this post belongs somewhere else or is a known issue please just move it or post a link.

I am new to Razer products, got a mouse and installed it yesterday. Works great except for moving windows from one monitor to the other. When I get to the edge of the monitor it looks like it wants to move over but then it sticks and stays on the original monitor. I googled around and found a suggestion which works - though it's awkward... if I go really fast I can get across to the new monitor. But at regular speed it doesn't work.

I have no issue with my old non razer mouse, it's particular to the razer.

Any suggestions for fixing it? I don't want to have to "fly" across the monitors to make it work. Thanks!
Hi Arctander2! Thanks for posting your mouse concern here. Allow me to help you isolate and resolve the issue. Please check the following:

a. Does the behavior happen while the Razer Synapse 3.0 is closed or disabled?

b. Does the issue happen while swiping or gliding the mouse to different surface aside from your mouse mat (ex. white sheet of paper, carton, wood, cloth)

c. If you are using a desktop computer, try connecting the mouse to a different USB port and check if the issue persists. I recommend using the rear USB ports.

If anything comes up, feel free to update this thread or send me a PM together with your device's serial number.
Just testing it now:

a. It still happens. I shut down all Razer apps in the system tray, still happens. Went to task manager, shut anything Razer related there, still happens.

b. Changing the mouse surface does not alter the problem.

c. That fixed it! Thanks!
LOL - nope, it's back now. Moving fast it works fine, moving normally it gets "stuck" going from one display to the other.
PM sent with the serial # - thanks for the help!
