Wolverine Tournament Edition (Synapse issue)

Just received my Wolverine Tournament Edition to use with my Windows 10 PC. I installed Razer Synapse for Xbox using the link on this site (that routes to the Microsoft Store). As soon as Synapse opens, I get the following message:

There is a new application available for your device.

Please download the latest version of Razer Wolverine for Xbox below

I click on the "Download" button and get nothing. The button (in the pop-up) changes from green to white, but that is it. No active download. No way to close the pop-up. Just a frozen screen and a frozen pop-up.

So no comments from the community about this POS software? I really wish I would have visited this lack-of-support forum before buying the controller. It's nice to see how helpful the support staff isn't.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern on our Support thread. Your posts didn't go unnoticed. The Razer Insider Team endeavors to cover all concerns that are posted. Are you still having difficulties installing the Razer Synapse for Xbox? Ensure that your computer meets all minimum requirements to open the software, please see the following:

• OS version: Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher, Xbox One
• Architecture: x64

Note: Please check your anti-virus or firewall and see if it is blocking the installation.
According to the information available for Synapse 2.0 and 3.0, neither support the Wolverine controllers.

As of yesterday, running Synapse for Xbox still directs me to download the newest version resulting in a frozen pop-up & screen. My PC is running the most current version of Windows 10 (I check for updates at least weekly). The computer itself is only 6 months old so I'm fairly certain it is adequate to run Synapse software.

Your point is well taken. By the way, the Razer Wolverine TE can only be customized by installing Razer Synapse for Xbox in the gaming console itself. Once installed, plug in the controller and customize it accordingly.

I have Razer Synapse for Xbox installed on my Windows 10 PC. When opened, it prompts for a new version to be downloaded. That's when it freezes.

I would suggest either making the new version available (so the download prompt actually goes somewhere) or fixing the software so that it doesn't prompt to download a new version that doesn't exist. If the new version exists, perhaps kill off the link to the Microsoft store as it isn't available there.

Additionally, the pop-up indicates the new software is "Razer Wolverine for Xbox", not Synapse. Regardless, the software does not seem to be available on the consumer side.
