wolverine v3 pro coil whine latest firmeware

I updated my wolverine v3 pro because the razer setup for xbox app notified me to update to the latest firmware.

It seems to be a firmware update related to synapse support.

After the latest firmware update (2025) for wolverine v3 pro, I had a coil whine problem.

When the controller haptic vibration occurs once, coil noise occurs.

Example: When I first turn on the controller, vibration occurs and then coil noise occurs.

It is noisy when I put my ear close to the controller.

Has anyone had the same experience after the firmware update that came up this time?

Also to add, others in the room can hear it. That high pitch whine-hum.

Razer needs to fix the coil noise. Many people should report this issue. If I roll back to the previous firmware, the coil noise goes away. Please fix it ASAP.If the vibration actually occurs even once, the coil noise appears. If the vibration does not occur, the coil noise does not appear.

Same here. Like a high pitch noise during vibration. Very off putting

Hey guys,

If you continue to experience the issue, please send me a PM with the serial number so I can verify it in our system and note it in your case. Please also include a short video clip highlighting the whining noise so I can include it as well. You can upload it to any hosting service like Google Drive and provide a shareable link. Just check the file so that anyone with the link can view it.
