Xbox 20th Anniversary Charging Stand orange/red light flashing constantly | Razer Insider

Hello,

I purchased the 20th Anniversary charging stand for my Series X towards the end of November, and it has been working just great up until last night. I took my controller off the stand, and the orange/red light on the stand began flashing rapidly. At the time, I didn't think anything of it, and simply unplugged the USB cable from the console. This morning I plugged the charging stand back into the console and after a few seconds the orange/red light on the stand started rapidly flashing again, and the controller with the recharge pack was not mounted on the stand at this time. I tried plugging the USB cable into the other USB ports on the console and even on my laptop and still the flashing orange/red light on the charge stand persisted. If I set the controller on the stand, the orange/red light stops flashing and becomes solid, but then after a few minutes will start rapidly flashing again.

Simply put, the charging stand is constantly flashing a orange/red light when plugged in, regardless of which USB port it is plugged into and regardless of whether or not the controller is sat on it. I've only used the stand a handful of times to charge my controller and have never had this issue before until last night and this morning. Usually the light on the stand is off until I set the controller on it, at which point the light turns orange/red to show it's charging the battery, and then white once charging is complete.

I'm pretty sure the stand should not be lighting up and flashing lights with nothing set on it, so I just wanted some advice. Next step I guess would be to submit a claim to Razer support, as it is under warranty.

Thanks!
