xbox series S not recognising brand mew wolverine v3 tournament edition controller

Just bought this controller and plugged it in with the cable I was provided and my Xbox can’t seem to recognise it, neither in accessories or the razor controller setup all for Xbox. I’ve tried plugging in it in the front and in the rear, a different usb-C cable and power cycle my Xbox but nothing works
