Zoom and Google Meet don't detect microphone on Razer Blade 14 running Windows 10/11 | Razer Insider

My Razer Blade 14 (2021) used to work perfectly with Zoom, Google Meet and other online meeting tools, but it started intermittently not recognizing the laptop’s audio devices.  Right now Zoom has this problem on almost every meeting I enter, even after I successfully test the audio devices in Zoom before actually joining the meeting.  As soon as I join, the devices stop being recognized.  This happened to me on Windows 10 and continues now that I have Windows 11.  All of my drivers are up-to-date.

Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?  Does anyone know how to resolve it?

I’m having the same problem and will have to purchase a new webcam is not corrected ASAP.  Seeing no reply from support here for over a month is not a good sign.

Indeed, I have had no response, but I’m not sure a new webcam will do the trick.  I’ve done some additional digging on my own and found that I had a setting on Windows Device Manager that enabled applications to “hold on” exclusively to the camera and microphone.  Once I changed this setting, I managed to get Zoom working - but only once.  When I tried looking for this again I couldn’t find it, and both Zoom and Google Meet are again not recognizing the devices.  I do now have a reason to believe that it has to do with some other application that’s maintaining control of the devices.  I need to continue checking...
