When installing Synapse 3.0 on Windows 10, it can progress to the last step before failing with a server access error. The issue seems to be with the Synapse installer rather than any actual server access. A work around is to install each module manually so that the Razer installer wizard is not used. Step 1: Open the installer log , It will be something like: C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Installer\\Logs\\RazerInstaller-ceed1f92-ff24-3445-be80-09ced0d23442.log Step 2: Go through the installer log and copy the web address of all the modules listed, there will be a bunch and you will have to fish for them. My guess is the macro will have to split up into a 'KeyPress' macro and a 'KeyRelease' macro. Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve: When the button 'E' is pressed down [::::> The button L is pressed down and released, then when I let go of the button 'E' [::::> The button L is pressed down and released again. During the time that the key 'E' will be pressed, I will be doing something with my mouse. Just a quick side note: the time between the pres
Hello, I have been making a program that syncs all the devices I have. My Peripherals: Mouse 1 : Razer DeathAdder Elite Mouse 2 : Corsair Glaive RGB Pro Keyboard : Corsair K95 RGB Platinum Mouse Pad : Corsair MM800 RGB Head Phones : Corsair Void RGB Pro As you can see here, my Razer mouse uses Chroma and Razer Synapse as it's LED controlling software. However, all my Corsair devices uses Corsair ICUE as it's LED controlling software. So, I decided to make a program that syncs all the Peripherals. Personally I am a freshmen studying Computer Science and Engineering in South Korea. I thought that it would be fun project for me to make a program to solve this problem. I have started this project about 2 weeks from now, and it is quite finished for me now, It does work for me now. And I would like to share you guys the working images of the project. If any of you would like to modify this program, feel free to do so. Also, huge thanks for all the wrapper projects in python. Gif
I am disgruntled right now and have found that many others are for the same reason. Synapse 3 "beta" has a fundamental flaw and what most would consider a regression: When devices using synapse 3 lose communication to the application (lock windows, reboot, etc.), the spectrum cycle mode kicks in until communication with synapse is reestablished. This has been voiced since the release of synapse 3. This was not the case with synapse 2, hence why I classify it as a regression. Unfortunately the latest devices are no longer compatible with version 2, which is the basis for my frustration. The only real "reason" I have found that Razer publicized about why this happens is that the lighting configuration memory management is done solely through the application instead of the devices hardware/embedded-software because of the more complex capabilities in certain lighting effects offered in the new version. Ideally we would like the devices to keep the last configuration set. An alternative
I have a Tartarus v2, and I have some complex attack macros that I would like to be able to pause (instead of on/off in an infinite loop) on the thumb dpad. Ideally, the macro would advance as long as I press the key, pause when I stop pressing the key, and then stop when it gets to the end even if I keep pressing the key. To totally restart the macro after it reaches the end, I would have to first release and the re-press the key. Is there a way to do this now, or is this more of a feature request? Thanks, -B
[Don't know if this should be here or in the general Razer Support forum. Mods, please feel free to move it if it is a better fit elsewhere.] I have a Naga Chroma that is not able to play some MMOs on a Mac because it requires some keybinds (for example, Ctrl-1 by holding down the control button AND the 1 button at the same time. I have determined, both with the Mac's Keyboard Viewer AND the xev tool in X11 (now called XQuartz), that even with the modifier buttons (control, alt, shift, command) remaining pressed down, when you press (say) the number 1 button on the side of the mouse, the system no longer thinks the modifier key is pressed. In other words, even when Ctrl is held down, pressing '3' on the side of the mouse sends the game a '3', not a 'Control-3'. Using the combo entirely on the keyboard works; if I press the 3 on the keyboard I get Ctrl-3, but when I use the mouse button for '3', I get only 3. Is there any fix or workaround for this? (Not to mention that the Syn
Hello, I would like to share my project that I had been working on. Some of you who are interested in AI might have heard of the term "Clustering" This project is simple. All the pheperials react to screen colours using clustering. By using my PyPheperials project, it would be possible to set LED colours whether it is Corsair or Razer. Here are some demos. (Might need some time for loading...) Demo #1 : Night Vision Demo #2 : Flash Bang Demo #3 : Blood I am quite new to this forum. So, if my post violates any of forum rules, please let me know. I will modify as soon as possible. Contact me via my email : firstname.lastname@example.org If, you are interested , please check my GitHub. https://github.com/gooday2die/pypheperial
I've had many keyboards and mice from Razer but I really am now fed up, it is not your hardware, it is your software Razer Synapse. Ever since version 3 came out I have had so many irritating issues that I just now decided to move on to another brand. As I see it, a driver for a keyboard/mouse should not be seen or heard but for some reason, your software constantly needs attention. I have had issues with Razer 2 and 3 installed in parallel, at some point receiving multiple updates of the driver like every day - where I every time need to enter the password, you cant remember it? macros that are not loading, keybaords not showing up in Razer central, sometimes mouse dpi button not working and so on. I also sometimes see the driver take 13% of CPU time while doing something. It is not only on one PC, I have had this issue on several PCs Seriously life is just too short for this So long. PS. Sorry for the rant, but FFS get your act together.
i own razer kraken and right after formatting my machine the razer surround pro app is no longer active on my account, requesting an activation code to use surround after installing synapse, even though i use the app normally hours before... How can I do synapse 2.0 work since I lost my activation code? Shouldn't the code be "saved" in my account since I have a razer product?
It seems nothing is registering. I just downloaded the new update after getting my replacement Tartarus. I'm trying to link Overwatch to a profile. I navigate to the install directory which is on my E drive and click the exe and... nothing. If I search Overwatch, all that appears in the list is the test realm exe.
Just after updating to windows version 1903 (May 2019 Update), Synapse 2, according to Task Manager and Resource Manager (and a couple of other tools I use to monitor the processes on my laptop), shows a large amount of CPU usage, from 50% up to 100%, intermittently but constantly). This has been going on for about a week, I sent and email to support, but guess what? I didn't receive an email back. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Before the upgrade Synapse was silent and quiet, now it makes my fans spin... My specs: BlackWidow Ultimate, Ouroboros, Kraken 7.1 V2 Intel i7 5500 8GB RAM I know this is a user forum, not an official support, I just ask if someone else is experiencing the same issues as me...
Razer Synapse 3 has been released now for a while. Can someone from Razer tell me what products are going to be supported if any more and is Synapse 2 going to be maintained for the life of the products that are not going to be transfered to Synapse 3. So is there a list of what is NOT going to be supported. Robin
Hello. Windows has its own "low power" and "max performance" modes, and something convenient about it is that you can have both switching automatically whenever you plug in. It's super practical ! I can have full performance when I'm home, ready for gaming, and instantly start saving battery when I'm moving without having to do anything. Is there a similar option for the "balanced" and "low power" modes in the Synapse ? To have them switch automatically depending on whether the laptop is charging or not ?
Hi, I bought naga trinity today, before this, I had naga hex v2. Now, a few months ago I found that synapse 3 started support on the hex v2, so I wanted to try it, I installed it worked fine, but I tried to open it again a few days later, it didn't open at all, so I looked online, found that if I reinstall it, it works, so I did that, and after a few times working it like that it stopped opening at all, no matter what I did, so I just ended up using synapse 2 which worked fine. Today I bought naga trinity and I found that synapse doesn't support trinity, and it requires me to use synapse 3 which does not open at all, it shows up on the task manager but refuses to open up, nothing happens after the administrative prompt. So, can someone please help me with this?
