Hi, Just bought a Cynosa V2 (great keyboard) and have a newbie question about Synapse : what's the relationship between chroma effects and profiles? - I know what profiles are, and how to assign them to hotkeys - I (now) know that anything I create in Chroma Studio applies to all profiles (disappointing...) - So, do I assign individual chroma effects to profiles? Is that how this works? If so, how to do it? - If not, does that mean that I can only have different profiles by using the 'quick effects'? Apologies if I'm asking the wrong questions, or just being dumb, but I find this software is not very intuitive... Thanks
As the title says, I want to custom some keys with INTER-DEVICE feature (Between a keypad and a mouse) but as soon as the key is released, I want it returns to the initial profile, this option is enabled when using SWITCH KEYMAP in every device, but not with INTER-DEVICE, the closest to this is to enable RAZER HIPERSHIFT but I hope this can be done in another way with INTER-DEVICE, even with macros or programing something. Thanks in advance !!
Like the title says, I'm trying to assign each key map with it's own lighting profile. I have not been able to do it however. The lighting profiles seem to be set globally regardless of the keymap. I also tried assigning a specific lighting profile to an overall profile, but I run into the same problem. How do I fix this?
As a mouse macro can be set as "Toggle continuous playback on/off using assigned key." I need a way to let me know whether the macro is looping. I think the light effect on my mouse would be a nice way. When I set an effect in Chroma Studio with "Playback: start on selected keys, end on selected keys." I can't choose any keys to be selected. No matter which key I clicked, the effect "Toggle continuous playback on/off". So I can't know if the macro is looping. I am wondering if there is a way to achieve this functionality, so I can know whether the macro is looping by looking at the light effect. I‘ve considered several ways to achieve this functionality: 1. Create multiple Chroma Studio profiles to switch, it needs: Set the key with 2 functions: Macro and Switch Lighting. "Switch Lighting" can be set as "If profile A is been using, switch to profile B; if profile B is been using, switch to profile A". 2. Create multiple Chroma Studio profiles and Mouse profiles to switch, it needs: S
Hello all, I have just switched to razer from corsiar and need help making some custom macros. I understand the basics of macros, I just need to know how to do the following: I want to make a macro where I press a button on my mouse and the macro presses the "1" key on the keyboard, then it releases the "1" key on the keyboard when I let go of the mouse button. I dont want it to release the "1" key until I release the mouse button. Is this possible with Razer Synapse? For context, I'm a smite player and I want the ability targeter to show up when the mouse button is pressed, but not actually fire the ability until i release the mouse button.
Razer synapse keeps asking permission to make changes to device. it didnt have this problem the first week i had the laptop. i tried everything, the guides on youtube , even letting it run as administrator and giving full acces. it still keeps asking permission. in the beginning it started normally everytime i opened the laptop. anything i can do to fix this? its not a real problem but it keeps bugging me.
I recently converted from Logitech G13 and mouse to the Tartarus and Basilisk. Overall, the synapse SW is pretty good. But one thing I desperately miss from the Logitech software is the ability to give names to mapped keys. So if I map a key or button to a key, I can give it the name of the game's command an see that name in the hover overlay.
Hello everyone, I would like to convice my company to buy me a razer Naga Left handed for my work. One good advantge would be to have several clipboards where to copy-paste stuff. Since I'm doing a lot of copy pasting, I would like serveral clipboards. A work around would be to copy&paste in a file that would only be used to temparly store this data. So first clipboard key1 would : copy data (Ctrl+C) -- open (txtA or sth else to store the data) -- paste the data ( Ctrl+V) -- close txtA key4 would : open the txtA -- copy everything from it (Ctrl+A) -- paste the data on the selection - close txtA Key7 would : open txtA -- delete all data -- close txtA second clipboard key2 would : copy data -- open (txtB or sth else to store the data) -- paste the data -- close txtB key5 would : open the txtB -- copy everything from it -- paste the data on the selection - close txtB Key8 would : open txtB -- delete all data -- close txtB third clipboard key3 would : copy data -- open (txtC or sth
Are the left and right scroll click bindings swapped for anyone else? They seem to be swapped on my Basilisk V2. Is it supposed to be like that? Like, when I assign something to the left scroll click, it goes to the right, and when I assign to the right, it goes to the left. I don't believe razer got the graphic for the button assignments wrong, so this must be some sort of bug or issue on my mouse. Right?
Has anyone here ever gotten Synapse to record keys properly on a non-english keyboard layout? Also I guess I am requesting the feature that in the future Synapse be compatible with whatever layout is active in Windows, since it doesn't seem to be the case right now.
Hello all and thanks in advance for any assistance here. I have a Cynosa Chroma and it is seeing Apex Legends as a game (Steam version) and Observer Redux (Steam version). The keyboard will change the lighting scheme when the games are launched. I have CSGO (Steam version) downloaded but Synapse is not integrating and seeing it? I have uninstalled and reinstalled Synapse several times and this is also a brand new fresh install of Windows 10. So far, it appears all of the supported games are being integrated and seen by Synapse EXCEPT for CSGO. Any help here is appreciated. And FYI - I have completely exhausted my search on Google for the fix but I can not find anything!
I would love the following feature(s) - Assigning more than one function to a key - Toggle between two lighting profiles E.G. Press Key "1" first time: - Press "1" - switch Lighting Profile from "normal" "Profile Yellow" Press Key "1" second time - Press "1" - switch Lighting Profile back to "normal" that way you could use different lighting states in games that toggle a special status with a keypress. For example: In X4 foundations you can toggle the travel mode with key 1. The travel mode has a distinct yellow glow in the cockpit so it would be nice to match this colour with the razer hardware. If you press 1 again the game will cancel the travel mode and turn of the yellow glow, so in this case it would be awesome to turn of the colour on the razer hardware (or switch back to a "default" state).
Hello, I'm using now a inserted "TEXT" to create a delay. This is how I use it and it works. https://i.ibb.co/XCzbJvm/a.jpg As I'm a programmer myself my logic tells me that the synapse is needed because of the "Text" insertion, I would actually like to have "something" that can be saved on-board on my Naga Pro. Is there any other way to use a "delay" between two key strokes, without making it "hold" the key? The only option would be to increase the initial key presses making the click delayed.
Hi, I read this thread: /help-with-turning-leds-off-on-a-charging-naga-pro.63165/ It sounds like it is a feature request. It has now been over a year, I don't see this feature implemented. Is there another option? Also linux support would be nice too.
Hello, so for me it's also important to get a mouse position function, the recording is fun but honestly little annoying. It records the movement from A to B, but what I want is to set an absolute mouse position on the monitor, so for example I could set it to 600x300 meaning 600px on the width from the left... and 300px from the top. I need this because when for example I'm selling items and my equipment has like 300 items i can like hold a macro and it would delete the item instantly. Short said a macro that inserts mouse coordinates so there is no need of recording but just simply set a absolute mouse position on the screen.
Please give us the option to turn OFF the update notification, especially since it forces itself on top, and has caused me to die in games when the game loses focus. I am not interested in applying every minor update you roll out because its almost daily. I am aware that you can turn off automatic updates, and they are already turned off. But there is absolutely no option to turn off the update notifications. This insanity has got me considering dumping Razer products and going with Logitech.
