Feature Request: Custom Controller LED Hardware

Since the whole point of this is to deal with ADDRESSABLE RGB, why are we limited in the software by it assuming only one devices is plugged into a port on the chroma controller? Such as, I have (4) Thermaltake ARGB 18-LED fans but I can either put one fan in at 18 LEDs or use it as an LED strip with 72 LEDs to control all LEDs on that port. It seems like it should be fairly easy to tell the system to add a fan that is x number of LEDs and then add another fan that is x number of LEDs and even add a strip that is x number of LEDs up to the 80 led max a port can support. They are addressable so they will automatically configure themselves in numerical order. Honestly I would be ecstatic if we could get the ability to manually place and identify the address of an led in the studio. then we could create custom designs that represent fans with an inner and outer ring or even as far as positioning all the LEDs that represent the 3 fans in the front of our cases... Its just a thought and it may just be me but that was what I thought this was when I purchased it and I am a bit disappointed, but I am making due instead of being satisfied with the purchase.

Would custom or multi fan/device per port for Chroma Controller be useful?
