Just bought Blaskshark v2 - tell me why should I not return it?

Hi,

I’ve bought Blackshark V2 wired on Sunday and they have arrived today. Sound wise they are pretty good in stereo mode - but I have not bought them for this, I have other gear to listen to music.
These are specifically for gaming, wired on purpose.
Now, I have spent hours re-installing the drivers and rebooting my machine as 90% of the time the EQ and the enhancements like bass don’t work.

Most of all, THX does not work at all.

Support guys - please spare me your BS about it ‘being recognised internally’ that I’ve seen in your other posts. Windows recognises the headphones as regular stereo, so no, it will not be simulating any sound stage, besides trying to up-scale the 2 channel signal.
Actually turning the spatial sound on, if it bothers to work, it sounds worse than without it.
Tried Doom Eternal as it is supposed to support THX, it has no clue that there is THX-comatible device connected at all.

From what I see it’s been 26+ days since the rollout of a update that broke it for the whole world, and Razer’s CS was rather unsupportive.

I am in no way your fanboy, this is the 2nd time I bought anything from you (1st being some keyboards for a Xmas presents for kids). Hence - I have no sentiment, I purely chosen you based on internet reviews that stated these headphons are awesome.

So. Why should I not just click 'return’ on Amazon straight away?

Regards,
Your potential customer.

You should return it. It’s junk. I used it for a little over a week before returning mine to Amazon. The audio cuts in and out a bunch - the THX software is junk. Not worth it for the $200 price tag… went and bought a Razer Barracuda X headset for $70 and it’s just as good of sound quality for video games as the Barracuda without all the annoying issues.

I’ve been playing Star Citizen with them yesterday and I noticed several cut-outs - not sure if its the game or headphones at this point, so will try Spotify today.

If it cuts out even once, return it is.

Edit:
Decided not to bother. Returning.
30 days plus with no rollback on something that obviously broken == its not a bug, its a feature.
