Razer Peripheral (Mouse) Stopped working after MacOS Big Sur Update

Prior to following this guide from user: Avaddon - https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/649829?answerId=646433022#646433022

I had similar issues to most people. After updating the OS Synapse 2.0 was unable to recognise the device. I followed Avaddon's guide and to my surprise the software detected the mouse. However, I was unable to assign buttons using the keyboard function. No buttons I pressed were recognised and the 'ok' button was greyed out.

+The basic functions were still working, of course. But you don't spend hundreds of pounds on a mouse, which has more than 12 buttons, to use it for its 'basic' functions.

I'm wondering if the keyboard security function, brought about by the Big Sur update, is preventing this and question if there is another command which would help bypass/allow its free use.

I hope I made sense! Sorry and thank you :(

Razer synapse 2 only works with mac os 10, not 11 ???
Hallo, I have the same or similar problems. At me I cannot get Synapse work on Big Sur. Synapse tells me all times PLEASE CONNECT A RAZER SYNAPSE ENABLED DEVICE.
Same problem
PLZ fix this plz
Same issue here, my mouse is not being recognized in Big Sur. Shouldn't Razer have thought about this beforehand?

I have the same problem like you. My mouse doesn't work on Mac Ver. 11. Only works on ver 10.
I have an Ornata Chroma keyboard and the latest version of Synapse on MacOS does NOT recognize my hardware. This sucks, because I am stuck with the default lighting and can't use the volume controls, etc..
I have a same problem with mouse and pad Razer... PLEASE CONNECT A RAZER SYNAPSE ENABLED DEVICE. :frown_:
Please fix this problem...
Mac OS users were waiting for an official update of synapse2 or the release of Synapse3 for Mac OS but you don't give us any kind of support, I think Razer has to remove the seal of "Mac OS support" from your devices.

Many of us bought this products just because that seal. I think we need an official announce about this to change our devices to Logitech or some other truly supported devices.

Meaning while I could recommend you Karabiner-elements to remap your keyboards, unfortunately this doesn't work for Razer mice.
Same issue with Razer Naga Trinity
Same issues here with Naga Chroma.
Razer, will you need 5years to make Synape 3 on Mac ?

They were "not" working on that for more than 5 years. The worst customer service indeed
My BlackWidow stopped being detected by synapse 2 after updating to Big Sur too. This is a disrespect to all customers that bought the products believing in the Mac compatibility, they give us a legacy software with no updates whatsoever to maintain the Mac support seal that they place in their products.
Please fix the glitch in the app! I have just bought numerous products from you and I want to customize them! Thanks!!
Yep! Something is broken on Big Sur. I did a clean install and when I want to log in the Synapse app it's just stuck at the "VERIFYING YOUR ACCOUNT..." part

Same thing happen to me...I tried to uninstall and re install and a nothing 😞
If don't want to give us more support them release the synapse 2 code so someone could take care of your customers.
I've got the Tartarus & have the same issue. Apple does this every release. In the system logs when I try to open Synapse, I see

Prompting policy for hardened runtime; service: kTCCServiceAppleEvents requires entitlement com.apple.security.automation.apple-events but it is missing for accessing={identifier=com.razerzone.RazerSynapse, pid=29724, auid=501, euid=501, binary_path=/Applications/Razer Synapse.app/Contents/MacOS/Razer Synapse}, requesting={identifier=com.apple.appleeventsd, pid=508, auid=55, euid=55, binary_path=/System/Library/CoreServices/appleeventsd},

Razer needs to configure the App Store provisioning profile with this entitlement then build / sign with this cert. Until a new update is released with this signing, this problem will continue for all.
Same issue here with Naga 4Trinity. It is frustrating that the mouse did not even retain its prior button assignments and went back to basic numerical assignments.
I have the same issue with my DeathAdder v2 mouse. I am running a macOS big sur. But my app is a fresh install for the first time. I did not have Razer app on my Catalina. Please fix this issue, I don't want to try Avaddon method.

This sounds like the sort of thing a class action lawsuit is meant to remedy.
Please fix this shit
Please fix this shit! Costumers don’t deserve such thing.
