Hi,

I plugged in the dongle for my Nari  Ultimate headphones and the update started, the update installed fine… but now in windows sound settings there is no THX Speaker option.

All there is left is “Headphones Razer Nari Ultimate - Chat” & “Headphones Razer Nari Ultimate - Game” I see that I can select THX in Synapse but the sound shows no change.

Is this a glitch or are we now having to buy THX to have it back?

I hope I don’t come off as rude or anything, just wondering what has happened to the program and THX

Same problem with Nari Ultimate. The update made all functions unusable, no matter how much I reinstall Synapes.

Same issue here.  Do we not see the Spatial Audio Driver in devices any more for a reason?  Is it part of my Blackshark V2 Pro driver now?

It seems like it is an update problem. Hope they fix this soon.

How did u guys get the 3.8.1031.110202 update tho? I saw an update to version 20231107, after updated I was in 3.8.1030.102422 .

I’m having the same problem, and moreover Synapse itself crashes every 10 minutes or so, a clean install hasn’t fixed the issue and brings me back to 20231107

Same here with  Kraken V3 , the sound is very bad and there's a massive bass on everything and extra, ı can not find the  Spatial Audio Driver to.

Man this is crazy how everyone is having sound issues, truly hope its fix for you all soon.

I have the same issues + some extra features being really buggy. The driver acts like a noise cancelling from external non game audio sources. When I try to play Euro Truck Sim with an Overlay, and the Overlay is playing Radio it just gets cancelled out just like noise cancelling its pretty weird

To be honest, im not going to buy any audio product from razer anymore. They are full of problems since day one with the software.

Recently bought a JBL Quantum 810 for my girlfriend, holy fuck, the audio quality + microphone its freaking awesome, +awesome software… Im going to buy another one for me and good bye to this fucking blackshark v2… Razer in audio, NO THANKS.

Same issue, Blackshark V2 - audio is tinny. Lost my oprion for THX spatial audio in the output settings only have reazer sound card, which is mic. Ticking THX spatial audio on Synapse does nothing. Luckily they allow us to choose which version of their softwarre to use, rather than ruining half our stuff each update… oh wait. 

Same problem with Kraken V3 Pro. THX spatial audio has disappeared from the available audio outputs. Without it the sound is terrible...

Same problem with Kraken Tournament Edition. Sound is bad. THX audio output no longer avaliable (I disabled Chat audio output long time ago)

 

So my USB audio controller always keeps THX indicator on. It don’t react for button clicks.

New problems keep arising.  Now my voice is so low in games ( R6 - CSGO2 - 2042 - COD ) that people can't hear it, even if I adjust the computer settings or synapse settings to 100%, my voice can't be heard in games. No matter how much I change the microphone settings, it makes no difference, it's obviously broken. 2nd problem, if I open a new profile, it takes too long to open and I can't delete it for some reason.  And last extra, synapse is extremely slow and freezes all the time.

I have the same problem as everyone else in this thread with the  Barracuda, after updating the Synapse software. I solved it using this method: I found in the support section (mysupport.razer.com) of my headset a link to update the software of the dongle and the headphones themselves, downloaded and installed it in normal mode, and everything worked again and the Synapse now has THX again and all the settings 😎 But the THX device still didn’t appear, but as I understand it now it won’t be there and only the audio output device to the headphones themselves (“Razer Barracuda 2.4” in my case), which includes THX 🙃

i got even worse problem and its so concerning, im using Razer Nari Ultimate. and when im playing genshin whenever i open the team setup menu all sound become so freaking loud like super loud i immediately unequip the headset lower the volume physicaly and had some little nausea, i check on every sound setting its normal like 30% (im usually use this setting), and then its become even weirder like every sound started to jump extremely loud and silent, then i need to reset the audio device to make it revert back to normal. im super concern that if the sound does that again in other app or browser or anything that im not aware of it will break the device. please dev hear us, just revert back to the previous build. i mean if the app alone is already stable/good dont change anything. i feels like this update is just.. i dont know, a beta update? its not perfectly tested.

So I went and bought THX Spatial Audio, yes even though my Nari Ultimate came with it included. Really wish Razer would give some official response in any of these posts. Truly stinks that I had to pay $20+ to get back something I already had until this latest update.
