I agree with you, This is worse situation and i don't would like to use this products anymore. Synapse 3 not supported both by mac and wmware fusion. I paid a lot of money to keyboard.

the problem is also that even the products which are supposed to be supported by Synapse 2 and have support for Mac (i.e., the new Razer Mamba wireless does not have the sign that it works on Mac as well! 😉 ) do not work properly.

I also had Razer Basilisk, but had so many problems that I had to sell it (luckily my sister needed a good mouse and she bought it from me otherwise I would have one mouse more that does not work properly) - and it has that sign that it works with Mac, too. well, yes, it works, right and left click and scroll, it works, but I did not buy Razer Basilisk to use it like that - for that I could buy any other 10€ worth mouse, but no, I bought it because it offers more - to programme all the buttons to specific needs, even more - to specific needs in specific apps/games/programmes. unfortunately, not on Apple computer.

I have a Huntsman keyboard, I actually installed Synapse 3 for Mac on my MacBook Pro, it is not working and asking for connection razer synapse enabled device, looks like that It can't see my keyboard. please fix it.
without that synapse light effect, this keyboard looks like those cheap backlight keyboard in the market.


wait, how did you instal Synapse 3 for Mac? where did you get it?

I just download it from razer website, it is a beta release.

Can you post the link to the page you downloaded it from? On the official Razer Software Download page, I only see the Synapse 3 Beta available for Windows.

I work on Mac and my Razer products do not work properly... I bought a last mouse it disconnects from time to time and I can not use the colors correctly. In addition to this, on the site Razer it is not indicated that it does not work on Mac !

Such a great feeling to come home with your goddamn 180 euros Blackwidow Elite and plug it in your Macbook Pro just to find out that you can't do anything with it, no customization at all -- and it was the main reason why I chose a Razer keyboard! Now I'm stuck with the most boring of light cycles because Portugal has shitty consumer laws and I can't return it and Razer can't even stick manual control to regular light cycles such as their trademark rainbow LSD one. This is so heartbreaking because I've always had a wonderful experience with Razer's headsets -- goddammit, I currently own two pro v2 ovals, a black one and a quartz one -- I was really starting to get into their products and this happens. Put it in goddamn huge letters in the box DOES NOT WORK WITH MACOS, is that too much to ask? Seriously, screw Razer on this, there is no excuse for duping customers into spending so much of their hard earned cash and leave them hanging. This might be my last Razer product ever after all.

Just pushing a bit more for them to release a macOS version. Also I hope they'd put legacy support for older devices in Synapse 3, I don't think it's clever to have both versions 2 and 3 running at same time, even if the support team told me "they are individual applications"... I just can't imagine the whole thing to get more stable with 2 unstable apps running instead of one.

Yeah razer, you keep releasing all these new products that Mac users buy too, and are only available to be modified/personalised with Razer Synapse 3, but synapse 3 isn't even compatible with mac? It is what puts a lot of people off buying your new releases. I hope you do something about this.

I like the cloud settings idea, but there is no local copy for anything.

I share your frustration. However, offline operation is working for me with the latest 2.x Synapse.

The cloud settings seem to be in some kind of messed up storage format as they are unable to reset bad settings stored in the cloud. Once you get a bad set of settings in the cloud truly the only way to fix is to create a new account. Bad for them and us.

Try the offline mode. At least I don't get begged to log in all the time. Unless I have another user logged onto the mac. Once I do that again nothing works right until I log the other user off. I always have at least 2 user accounts going on there for work and home.

Just hoping they changed the method for cloud support in Synapse 3 in which case I'll gladly jump.

It's a bit silly that products are being released that require a beta version of an application in order to function. Synapse 2 should be maintained and support all new hardware until Synapse 3 is in full release. But what do I know, I have only been developing software for 20 odd years.

I just dropped 3 hundred dollars on a mouse and keyboard which are not compatible with my Mac. Im not using them to game, Im using them for work and DJing. I spent over an hour trying to download drivers and install products that this company has quietly claimed they have no intention of making compatible with my computer. Incredible waste of money, incredible waste of time. Very disappointed.

I bought a MAMBA ELITE and then find out that it does not work on MAC. On the site it is not reported that it works only with SYNAPSE 3 and that there is still no version for MAC.

I have talked with razer and they say that they are busting their asses to have the synapse 3 working with mac users. I have an ornata chroma myself an you might know that the lighting is kind of half of the keyboard.

But i do have a windows laptop an even if you change the keys and the lighting on that one it just resets if you plug it in a mac

Razer -- guys -- come on. For the love of dog. Do you even know how many dollars you're leaving on the table by not getting Synapse 3 out for macOS?

I bought a Kraken TE headset that won't work on my 2017 Retina iMac because Synapse 2 is no bueno. I want a Huntsman Elite. Two bills isn't the dealbreaker -- the lack of support is. For the love o' Mike, kick down that last barrier to me giving you guys money, can't ya?

lol I want to buy huntsman elite keyboard but the synapse 3 doesn't support mac users. This is a huge disappointment since I love using razer products on mac. Not only the keyboard I want to buy the goliathus extended chroma and the headset as well but the synapse software makes me confused about buying it or not.

Yeah I bought the blackwidow elite for my macbook, didnt realise synapse 3 wasnt supported on mac and synapse 2 doesnt support the keyboard, still worth buying tho as it does have the wave lighting effect as standard but I'm still praying for support on mac to get that rainbow effect lol

Continuing along the "Mamba Elite" trend on Mac, I use an iMac 21.5 inch (1,499$ model) and is Good for some games, and I have 3 RΛZΞR peripherals, that being the Mamba Elite, Ornata Chroma, and Firefly Hard Edition. 2/3 work, meaning the Mamba Elite cannot be customized on Mac. However, that doesn't mean it works, it works Great. The DPI levels have 4-5 adjustment levels to suit whatever you prefer. The scroll wheel up and down and side to side work, left and right work, and the forward and back work, but used only for secondary right clicks. In game, the Mamba's side buttons work. I do wish to see Synapse 3 come soon on Mac, even if it takes more then a year. Please RΛZΞR, make it for Mac.

Yeah, I have to be honest. Synapse 3 for Mac would be awesome:

- I have three Razer Naga Trinity's.
- Two of them are on Windows PC's. One of them is on a Mac.
- Razer mice are incredible tools for gaining efficiencies. I understand that most of them are designed with gaming in mind but even with productivity software or digital audio workstations like ProTools, the speed gains are awesome.

The Synapse Legacy software is missing a few key features from Synapse 3:

1. The ability to save profiles on the local mouse hardware. This is truly missed as Mac doesn't properly startup with Synapse software no matter how you configure it. This in itself would save a lot of clicks for a lot of users as one wouldn't need to start it up each time the machine boots up.
2. Chroma is extremely limited. There are only 4 options compared to the layers of adjustments and tweaks you can make with Synapse 3.
3. I am wary of purchasing new Razer hardware as I'm not sure it will be compatible with the software. As a user concerned with efficiency I want to be able to use the same hardware on each station I sit at to reduce the time needed for familiarizing. I'd love to try new Razer mousepads but don't want to bother as the Mac is a key part of my workflow and some peripherals will not work.

Please release Synapse 3 for Mac.

I've been using RΛZΞR products for years, but upon switching to Mac and wanting to upgrade, I am unable to do so. The Huntsman Elite only supports synapse 3 and the trinity doesn't work well at all on synapse 2. RΛZΞR would easily have at least $300 from me if they could release synapse 3 already for Mac.
