Damn, ok, I guess Razer will be accepting my returns shortly. Meanwhile, a few dudes on GitHub are showing us all that Razer is clearly ignoring a large % of their market. Razer has decided to F%#$ their shareholders. Aren't you tired of Logi eating what you purposely leave on the table?
I've been a Razer Naga user since the Epic (Trinity's buttons suck in comparison) and I'm gutted that Razer has completely abandoned OsX support. I used Synapse 2.0 Legacy for years to make my work more efficient, and now I'm back to the drawing board.

Come on, Razer, give us Mac users some options!
Hi every1!

You should try karabiner to control your razor HW. It supports everything and is also lightweight. The interface suits macOS almost like an native macOS app.

This is nuts ... I have same issue with synapse 3 not available for Mac and Synapse 2 for Mac not supporting my new Blackadder V2 mouse. Great mouse, but if I cannot program the buttons it goes back to Amazon and I'm switching to Logitech.
Just bought a Kraken Kitty RGB headset and didn't realize there was no Synapse 3 support for MacOS. I can't even use Synapse 2 because it isn't compatible with my headset.I use to think Razer was cutting edge and made quality products. As a streamer and a radio broadcaster, I am seriously disappointed in this company.

Returning the product immediately. Never going to buy Razer for myself (Mac user) or my husband (PC user) again.
Yeah... I think alot of you have droped the ball on Synapse 3 for Mac. It is so dissapointing... there are no words. Its like the whole community here, does not exist. Razer happily sales hardware to Mac-Idiots, so they can build funny chairs, fantastic masks, idiotic mascots and beautiful company-glass-houses... well graz to you razer. you screwed us well. the good thing... there are plenty of mice out there no one uses... still in mint condition. so in 50 years from now, you have alot of exhibits to put in museums around the world.
Time to switch to SteelSeries

Someone found this. The thread was locked so I am reposting it here. Confirmed it is working. A little clunky but I am sure you guys can figure it out. No button assignment, but colors, battery level and detection worked for my Naga Pro on Mac 10.14.6 Mojave https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos

I was pretty annoyed as well that I could not control the colors and such on my Blackwidow Elite on my Mac because Synapse 3 for Mac does not exist and Synapse 2 does not have support for their device. Its been years and the lack of support is extremely annoying.
This software does work though, I can confirm, I just set it up on my MBP running OS X 11.5.2, was able to set the color and such no problem. Thank you for the link 🙂

Just spent all my pocket money on a mouse, in which I cant control nor use to it's fullest capability. Im furious!
Going to switch to Logitech, they handle customer service and actually listen to customers
This is unacceptable. Returning my mouse as soon as it arrives.

They actually do have a list of requirements on a box and it states that it requires a Windows machine. But on the other hand it a has a big Bluetooth log on it, which presumes compatibility with all platforms. And mouse itself does work, just you can't tweak it. But overall I agree, a big warning lable "not compatible with Mac" would help a lot, but i actually think they won't do it on purpose, just to get bigger sale numbers.

The thing with packaging, is that I doubt whether anyone reads everything on it before heading to the checkout.
If there's a compatibility issue, the packaging should declare it boldly.

I feel your pain, in my opinion, it's bad enough for existing Mac customers who have already purchased products, to later find that they're now not supported, but to allow new buyers to purchase Razer products to find out the bad news when they try plugging them in, is poor form.
The cheapest fix could be for Razer to inform all outlets of the problem & provide them with large "INCOMPATIBLE WITH Mac OS" labels for all of their current & future Razer products, until Razer produces new packaging.

End of July 2021, just got Orochi V2 and it only works with Synapse 3 that is not supported on a Mac. What a bummer

LATEST UPDATE:
I kept the keyboard intending to give Razer a spray, but plugged it in & it did everything I needed straight out of the box, without Synapse. Nice.
If someone in the contact centre had told me that at the start, I wouldn't have had to endure all the mindless template shrouded drivel & saved a lot of frustration.
That said, I'm delighted with my Huntsman v2 Analog & won't be chewing anyone's ear.
I've contacted them since & voiced my concerns that you professionals are disappointed.
I pleaded for a slow but steady ramp up of Synapse, to bring hope & restore trust.
Sorry gamers, I don't take you seriously.
I urge professionals to politely contact Chelsea (my Super Heroine ❤️) at Razer, she's been amazing & has been the only staff member to show Mac Razer customer respect.
Hi I’m a new Razer customer and I bought a base station chroma v2 and I didn’t see that the synapse wasn’t for Mac for now, but can I use the inside dac without, thanks for tips and help
How is it possible to ship a product in 2021 with such bad software support..? Especially when they take a premium fee for it! Just bought a razer naga pro, and it is ridiculous that it does not have any support at all for Mac, no workarounds, no beta software, or a lite version. The workaround using windows is not a feasible alternative, since it does not support all the features you could expect from a first-party solution for mac. Probably have to return it if there is no news about any solution at all.
My wife dropped off my unopened Huntsman v2 Analog at the DHL Express Depot this morning for return shipment, I await a full refund.
Dear Razer Team,
Please don't leave a sizable portion of your user base out in the cold - with no Razer support for Big Sur Mac OS. At least make v1.88 compatible with OS 11 even if it is just keyboard and mouse operations. Some kind of driver that would keep us flailing about with your products. Shameful.
Please...
Hello Razer Team... Hello... Hello? Wake up! Time to program Synapse 3 for Mac! We all bought the products, we just cant use them! Hello!

Maybe this is more about Razer using Synapse 3 to do something that Apple isn't cool with.

I'd imagine that they'd make it loud & clear if Apple was screwing them around. :wink_:
As others have said, a lite version would be greatly appreciated as a stop-gap.
My needs are extremely simple, I only need it for my optical keyed Huntsman v2 Analog keyboard so that I choose a single colour static backlight, & media key functionality.
No fancy light shows, no multi-gear synced lighting, no voice control, that's it.

I'm almost certain Razer support doesn't even check the forums (they haven't responded here after almost a year)
It's probably a better idea for everyone who wants Synapse 3 on Mac sign this petition on Change to get them to do something

https://www.change.org/p/min-liang-tan-provide-mac-os-with-synapse-3

Done & sent $30 put towards the cause. :smile_:
Time to join the fight.
Just noticed that it's a year old & has stalled.
Come on guys, at least sign the petition, it's free & could help.
