I had Logitech pro, changed for Ultimate Viper, juste wanted to switch off the led on the mouse but need Razer Synapse 3.
I m on Mac ... by providing a software for only Windows you re showing how small you are.
I didn t even thought that it could be not possible to have a software for Mac from Razer. No worry, next one will be a Logitech.

If you don t provide a software for Mac users because their not valuable to you, do It at least for your Brand image of a serious and big company.

Hallo Razer-Support,
please make Synapse 3 available for OS X too – just like Synapse 2 before!
I would love to configure the colors of my new Razer Goliathus Chroma XL.
Kind regards Mike

I am sorry for the late response, however as far as I am aware, there are currently no plans to support Synapse 3 on Mac.

We know Apple deliver great products
and I am sorry if I offend / hurt any Apple users, fans, enthusiasts

Care to join Windows?

As what @Jenjar have posted RAZER have no plans to support Synapse 3 on Mac

But who knows if things change, but would you wait years for that change to occur?

It's just flat-out disappointing.. imagine being a major gaming company and you don't have something as basic as support for MacOS... plenty of smaller brands have it. I know for a fact with your resources you guys can pump this out like clockwork. For someone like me who wants to sync Razer with my Phillips Hue, not having Synapse 3 is a major bummer. Anyone know any workaround to get it working? If not, I'll just be returning my Razer devices.

I completely agree, this is outrageous. We spend our hard earned money on their products and they don't have the curtesy of supporting us. Every other piece of software I have has been updated to support Mac OS 11 except razer. Making my mouse and Tarturus virutally useless. And as has been said, they have never bothered to release Synapse 3 for the mac. I am done with Razer and will start posting criticisms wherever and whenever I can

So your solution is that I scrap my $2000 Imac, buy or build a widnows machine, in order to get a couple of Razer products that together maybe cost $250. Wow, what an absolutely wonderful solution. How about Razer supporting their products??

windows
plz Razer Synapse 3 update to Mac
I recently purchased a Razer Kraken Kitty Edition headset and couldn't get it to work with Synapse 2 on Mac (MacBook Pro 13" 2020) through a USB-C adapter. The headset lights up and I am able to listen to audio and his the microphone, but that's about it.

I was able to get Razer Synapse 3 to work on my Mac hardware just fine, however, this was through Windows 10 on Parallels. It didn't pick up the headset straight away and I had to exit all Razer processes while setting up the headset (selecting Windows 10 when given the choice with the dialogue boxes for headphones and microphones when the headset is first plugged in, then giving Mac permissions to Parallels to use the headset), but once I completed the process, it showed up in Synapse 3 just fine and I was able to get full control of the headset. Upon exiting Windows 10/Parallels, if the headset is still plugged into the USB, it will just default back to the white lights and basic audio functions.

I'm yet to try and see if the headset/Synapse 3 will work on an older MacBook Pro 13" (2017) through Windows on Boot Camp, but I imagine it will. Obviously not an ideal workaround with Parallels or Boot Camp, but it's an option to those who have it as I'm not holding out for full support, given the response.
Razer please support MacOS!!! I have bought the naga pro for Windows desktop and MacBook use, come to find out its not supported on mac... are you kidding me? This is unprofessional to say the least.

Everyone post here for Synapse 3 on Mac: /what-would-you-like-to-see-next-from-razer.1573/page-283
Ok, one more voice. For my mac laptop I bought huntsman keyboard, naga pro mouse, core x chroma egpu and what? I cannot properly customize my keyboard and mouse. Wow, such a "nice" gaming experience, guys. Frustrated.
"The question is: which one will you choose?" None.
ahh ffs I just bought a Nari Ultimate headset for my ps5 and I was hoping I could change some setting on the Razer Synapse software 3 but that's not compatible with Mac OS even though your products are supported under Mac OS not sure if that's still classed under false advertisement
Just got a Viper Ultimate for Christmas and I use Mac. Very disappointed that synapse 2 does not recognize it and Synapse 3 does not support Mac. Debating whether to return it now. Please either update Synapse 2 to support your newer hardware, or come out with synapse 3 for Mac.
Before attacking Razer or other developers for not working with Apple products, please take not on the operating system you are dealing with. Apple is well known to pick and choose who they work with and it usually comes down to a dollar figure. As of October 2020 I can no longer print to any HP device without jumping through 10 or so error messages saying that my print drivers may be a potential virus. This is not a Razer issue. They have synapse 3 for mac. But do you think for one minute Apple will work with with them unless they fork over some cash? How many times have you updated your mac OS just to find your peripherals stop working?

In other words.... why are you upset with Razer and not with Apple?
gutted, got gifted a Base Station Chroma for Christmas and cant even change or access the features via Synapse. Just gotta wait for Steel Series to release a RGB headset stand I guess!
Yeah Pretty lame.... was trying to register as well. going to take this Razor Blackwidow keyboard.. like it.. but it's for my macbook pro dock setup as well.... by by nice clickity click.
Do not download their MAC file, it crashed my laptop, corrupted all the data. Now I have headset, mouse, keyboard and controller that I cannot use. I purchased a new mac book pro and a new HP laptop. The Razer gear is not recognized is Synapse 3 on the HP PC laptop. Stuck with $500 worth of worthless gear.....thanks RAZER

PS EVEN YOUR FORUMS ARE BUGGED

I edit feature films with razer on mac and would LOVE to recommend it to my colleagues in film and TV. The hardware, imo, is the best out there. But we need synapse 3 for Mac! Please razer, get this out so I can stop sending my fellow editors to Logitech! I'm increasingly tempted to switch myself but am still holding out hope that you will listen to your customer base.

Please make Razer synapse 3 for mac!

Another vote for Mac (inc M1) support for Razer Synapse and products.
ANYONE can create Mac software, you do not have to pay Apple tons of money for this at all
This is on Razer not Apple
(and I have 10+ razer products so I would LOVE them to work correctly on my Mac)

Until Apple negotiates a contract with RAZER for a new software~~~

I tried helping out an Apple user with her Huntsman Mini use on MacOS. Check out the the following thread

Hoping that RAZER peripherals that interact with Synapse 3.0 has an onboard memory profile. But it does not.

For MacOS users there are 4 options for RAZER peripherals

  • Use Bootcamp on Apple Mac product to run Windows on MacOS
  • RAZER peripherals that interact with Synapse 2.0
  • RAZER peripherals that come with an onboard memory profile
  • Or Windows 10 laptop (non-Apple product) is waiting for you

You have no idea what you are talking about don't you? I'm an engineer, literally ANYONE can write a macOS app. You have a flat $99 fee to open a developer account and that's all. The issue with your HP printer is not Apple, it's HP that doesn't care enough to update their drivers for macOS. Apple made some security changes, now it's up to HP to release a product that is compatible. Except they won't because the % of their users that are using macOS is so low that spending money on this makes absolute no sense for the business. And the issue is the same here with Razer.

Engineers are expensive, building Synapse 3 for mac would probably cost over a million without taking into account the updates (a senior engineer in the bay area cost around 180k in base salary only, so it goes pretty high pretty quick).

My main issue here is that if Razer doesn't want to spend the money on us, then they should either make an API that works on macOS/Linux or release the documentation that explains how the communication layer work, so we can build it ourselves. There are a few open source projects out there that are trying to reverse engineering the thing, but it's not great and fairly buggy. At that point I feel like Razer just doesn't care _at all_ about us since the community is literally willing to do their job for free, and all they have to do is to release some documentation...

because you are dumb. there is an api to work with razer doesnt have to work with any one just read a little and integrate with the api provided by apple..... every one does it.. thats how macos apps are built by vendors..

why is this, as there are so Meny people wanting to use razer items and everything that now comes out on Mac people can't buy as its pointless so if I did move to windows It makes you not want to buy razer products as you will look for items that work on both Mac and windows that may be more then razers price tag not to say but Mac is only getting bigger bad move on razer. For (windows) Gamers. By (windows) Gamers should be razers new slogan and they should take Mac compatible off there products as its a lie

I just purchased the huntsman elite keyboard for my mac, I was going to use it mainly for my job as a developer, and I had no clue when I made the decision to buy huntsman elite that mac is not supported.

My question, After the latest thread about the mac support (a year ago), will synapse 3 be available for mac users in the near future? if not, I have no choice but to return the keyboard.

Note: I know that mac is not a gaming machine, but there is a wide variety of people that tends to buy gaming accessories now for their home office setups (chairs, keyboards, mouses ...) so it would be nice to support mac users for the next-gen devices that you are producing ...

I agree. It's really disappointing when there's a huge group of people that want to use Razer products but are Mac users and can't use them. Me for example I bought a Razer base station for my kitty headset and both don't work because I need Synapse 3.0. Razer company needs to seriously make a program that will allow Mac users to use their products as well.
