Is have  a little bug ( performance issues on gaming mouse losse after shooting  , accuracy , efect  ) 

but is a  loot of Improvisation .

Windows Dynamic Lighting is enabled for some devices. If you still don’t have this feature supported, check if there’s new firmware available for it - because some devices got this function enabled via FW update.

Which devices? I can’t see any firmware updates for my devices. If not all devices are enabled, what’s the point of it? Then you can’t sync lighting effects and you’ll still need to use manufacturer software…

I’ve read that the new Synapse beta app would integrate with WDL but it doesn’t show up or seem to work with it.

Edit: If it’s this very limited list then none of my 5 Razer devices are supported, not even the brand new ones...

In my opinion it has to be integrated on firmware level if you want to use WDL without Synapse. For eg. DeathStalker V2 Pro FW: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6249/~/razer-deathstalker-v2-pro-firmware-updater-%7C-rz03-0436

In the newest 2.x firmware they’ve added WDL support “Enabled LampArray feature“ (probably it’s some API function for WDL). So if you don’t have the latest available firmware, then it may not work.

I’ve tried WDL on BlackWidow V3, and it’s working correctly. But disabled this and sticked to Chroma.

There has to be done some serious rework with the macro function in Synapse 4. You arent able to record new sequences WITHIN the makro anymorre which you could in Synapse 3. Tried it multiple times all you can do now is select the different keystrokes but cant start recording from a certain point. → Always switches to the end of the macor to record which is extremely annoying.
EDIT : Creating a shortcut to start recording is also broken : It starts the recording but doesnt end it.

I’m happy to report that the new Synapse Beta not only works great with both my Huntsman V3 Pro and Deathadder V3 but that it also works great alongside SignalRGB.

You just need to make sure that Windows compatibility with Dynamic Lightning is enabled

 

Now I just need a way to create shortcuts with the keyboard as that doesn’t seem to be possible at this point.

Correct me if I am wrong but the install said it would not affect existing accessory profiles? Every one of my profiles are gone both chroma and bindings.

So that I no longer need to use synapse 1. It’s amazing how third party softwares can manage all my stuff with zero performance loss. Even my old mamba, my huntsman elite, razer firefly…. One program, without 10 background process.

Just downlaoded the Synpase beta and it was a TERRIBLE experience. I’ll start at the beginning:

 

So, I downloaded and installed the beta and logged into my account only to be greeted with my devices all just doing the default lighting as none of my Synapse 3 profiles had moved across to the beta app. Bad start, but it gets MUCH worse

 

The next thing i noticed was that the following devices weren’t showing in my devices list:

  • Kraken V3 Hypesenses
  • Hanbo 240mm AIO
  • 120mm Kunai fans x6
  • ARGB controller

This was the 2nd annoying thing as that meant I now had no way to control the RGB on those devices

 

I thought it might be a bug so after a restart I was greeted with THIS resolution and my GPU not being detected!

No ability to open Nvidia control panel, HDR not working, no resolution options…..NOTHING

 

So, I opened Geforce experience and weirdly there was an update now avaialble for my 4080 (despite there being no update prior to installing the Synapse Beta). I press on “express installation” and the drivers just start installing, no download, just a straight install. So, the driver WAS THERE but for soem reason had been disabled. And the ONLY thing that changed on my PC was installing the Synapse Beta and Synpase 3 being automatically uninstalled during the process

Thanks, but no thanks Razer. Not touching that one with a barge pole again. Might brick my GPU next time!

 

Also, I didn’t like the fact that I had to have 3 PROGRAMS running to use the Synapse Beta (Synapse 2 for LEgacy devices, Synapse Beta and Synapse Chroma) WHY make the new Beta into 2 separate apps? That is a terrible idea!!

Still many issues. Please not most headset compatability is coming in February. However even listed compatable devices still do not show in the modules. My razer raptor doesnt even have an option despite a full reboot, fresh install, fully updated firmware and replug. Please fix this. Also the Razer v4 pro keyboard still has a massive chroma overleay issue in the studio using multiple static colours.

1- No support for Razer Wolverine Ultimate, why use another windows App for the Razer Wolverine and not in Synapse.

2 - The RGB still not support for my GPU, RAM or FANs. I must have use 3 programs for my RGB, Razer Chroma for My Keyboard and Mouse, RBG Fusion for my mother, RAM and FANs and SPECTRA for my GPU. I want use one app, Razer Chroma App is better for the games chroma support.

Haven’t seen this issue yet, but on restart Synapse had been saving the preferred Custom performance/power settings for my 2022 Blade Advanced. I had it set to Turbo CPU/High GPU. In the beta version, it now defaults back to Turbo CPU/Low GPU after every restart.

 

Not a critical issue, but annoying.
