BlackShark v2 Pro synapse after update

I just bought this headset and all of the settings look different and are supposedly worse now. I have found nothing for a fix, no response from razor, and I am very confused on why they changed the software. It feels like when I change a setting, nothing is different in the audio. I move sliders to max or min and the audio sounds the same. My mic settings also seem like they do nothing. Someone please tell me what is going on because I have spent several hours searching and trying things to no avail.
