1.)I'm only repeating things ..... 2.)We had zero obligation to migrate any legacy devices to Synapse 3. .
Yes, thank you for beeing so honest ! 1.) You are repeating words like a politican. OK; thats your job, I can understand. 2.) Seems like this company attitude describes the main problem. There is no legal obligation to migrate, or to do anything. You are absolutely free ! Except, you already realized, "what is best for our customers". The problem is, you are not clear about "best for customer" and "best for the company". Investment, no matter how large, doesn't secure any of them. Listening to your customers is commendable. Understanding would be more helpful. You are defending your company decisions, what else can you do. But, your customer don't want a new software, that is incompatible with their products ! They want a bug free, performant and comfortable software, whatever it's called. Your argumentation, that the design of old components prevents the design of a new software simply is an excuse for "we are not capable" or "we are bothered" to implement backward compatibility. So far, if you have to invent millions of dollars in update driver development, something serious goes wrong in your company.

Those are the same things, as far as I'm concerned.

Those decisions were made by me (I'm the product owner for Synapse) and I'm trying to give some insight into why/how/when of things because community members always ask for more transparency. However, this conversation has unfortunately gone from me sharing insights to straight up combative, so I'm going to refrain from responding unless there are any legitimate questions that warrant a response. Sorry.

Are the blade laptops supported by Synapse 3.0?

already 2018 still a lot of stuff not in sypnase 3, quite dissapointing

The fact that the Mamba TE is supported, but the "regular" Mamba isn't is downright confusing. Half my devices, which are all fairly new product lines, aren't supported. Blackwidow TE Chroma Stealth - Supported Firefly Chroma - Supported Tiamat 7.1v2 - Not supported Mamba Chroma - Not supported (either wired or wireless)

You mean the Blackwidow v2 te with orange switches? because i have the X te chroma and its not supported yet

No... it's not an X. It has the covered keys, not the open, and it's not a v2... no wrist rest.

Not yet, but I'm pretty sure they will be. They just did another new update and added a few more things, so I still have hope.

I do hope I see the devices and profiles which I chroma-ed before it went down with the Beta. =( Shall live with the GREENS without Chroma for the time being....

Just want to add my name to the list of people looking forward to more devices being supported. I already have the BlackWidow TE V2, the Lancehead, and some Hue lights working in Synapse 3. Would be nice to control my Blade Stealth from there as well!

Let me just say Razer will not get $0.01 more from me until legacy devices are supported with Synapse v3. I have a deathadder elite and kraken pro currently not supported by latest software. Absolutely unacceptable from an "elite" company. I'll be looking into other vendors as these devices die...unless Razer puts their money where their mouth is.

I have a Orbweaver working with synapse 2, quite for me. Bought today a Basilisk mouse... well, it works only with Synapse 3! and Orbweaver only with Synapse 2... I have now two razer clients; How is this possible in a company that is supposed to be a leader? How many time need Razer to incorporate legacy drivers to new software?

@RazerThe_Fiend I have a DeathStalker Ultimate (the one with the touchscreen and dynamic keys). I'm safe to assume that this keyboard won't be supported in Synapse 3, right? Or you have plans to implement the Switch Blade UI too?

As a standard practice, I can't comment on plans for specific devices. But SBUI developement was deprecated quite some time ago, so that should be an indication enough in this case.

Yeah, I guess that would be the case. It's a shame because it's a unique product that had a lot of potential. With the right kind of support, it could do wonders (e.g. Elgato Stream Deck). Anyway, thanks for the quick response! :wink_:

Been away for a while and I see things have happened (I've a DeathAdder 3.5g from around 2010-ish [IIRC] that I still use, just to put things into perspective) and I was wondering the following two things: -- Will support for the DA 3.5g ever be added to Synapse 3? (Considering it is pretty old by now) -- People speak about Synapse 2 being very buggy, but I've never had any problems with it, granted I haven't touched the sensitivity-settings in about 4 years, I don't use any statistics function, and the only two custom mappings I use for my mouse (it only has two 'extra' buttons anyway) is 'Show Desktop' and 'Mute'. I haven't updated since waaay back when there was talks of compability and whatnot anyway, and as I said, I cannot recall having much (if any) problems with Synapse at all. So, my second question is: What bugs? (In case there actually are some quirks happening with my computer that could be blamed on Synapse.) I've Windows 8.1 nowadays, and the DeathAdder 3.5g is the only Razer product I use (except for a Vespula mouse-mat).

I know the staff replies haven't been as frequent on this thread now, but I have questions. I understand that software development is a very difficult job, and i am trying not to be angry or combative. I just want a legitimate answer. I currently own the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V1, the Razer Naga Epic Chroma (the one with the wired/wireless modes), and the Razer Orbweaver Chroma V1. Will these products ever get a port to Synapse 3? From my understanding, the Blackwidow Chroma V1 is already supported, (though it doesn't say that on their website.). I have had some bugs with the mouse, and was hoping that if it gets a port, these bugs will be fixed.

BlackFireDragon
I dont quite get tgis why Trinity and regular naga chroma are supported but naga epic chroma dont > and why any of the micronefone like Siren Pro are not add to synapse 3. This are top of line devices but without support
