When i read this i think people dont read the forum and dont use the search bar. Sorry but it's true dont complain about support for legacy devices but dont read the info from staff member about adding devices to synapse 3. For now adding devices is hold becose of issues and bugs that must be solved before support will start to add legacy devices again. In future please look at forum first.

People are entitled to ask for future consideration, and no one was complaining - just asking politely.

And still this ridiculous saga of Razer not supporting their flagship items in their new software runs on and on and on. I understand their point of dealing with issues but putting on hold moving their high end devices to the new platform makes no sense. Have they only got 2 developers or something? They can't get software sorted but they keep pumping out new hardware, that's a mental business model.
I will be looking to do a full refresh in the next few months and after all this waiting it won't be a full set of Razer gear going in if they can't get simple things like this under control.
I have already steered people away from replacing their gaming gear with Razer for the simple reason they have unsupported gear that isn't ready for changing so if they're going to run 2 lots of software it might as well be Synapse 2 and something from another company until they replace all their gear and get rid of Synapse 2.
Makes me proper sad that they can't get this right after all this time. Beta. It's still Beta. Must be the longest beta cycle of any software in the history of the planet. Just put support for the damned Orbweaver Chroma on!

Will new Blackwidow 2019 work with synapse 2? I have old DeathAdder 3.5g, and it will be great to use only one control panel.

New devices realeses after synapse 3 was published are only compatibile with it. Older devices not all but few have support to synapse 3 and can work on both versions of softwere. If someone still dont know what softwere get or what softwere support their devices just visit synapse 2 and synapse 3 device support list.

I dont understand why its taking so long to add these devices. I have a Naga Epic Chroma that i cant sync with my keyboard or mousepad because apparently it takes longer than 2 years to change to new software...
Next time, maybe before you release new software, make sure ALL devices work on it from the get go, or AT THE VERY FREAKING LEAST MAKE NEW DEVICES BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE. Im no expert but this doesnt seem like rocket science to me.

I have Razer Mamba Wireless 2015 edition and I want to buy a Razer keyboard, but I'm not gonna buy one until the light on both device work together on one Synapse! Razer is losing customers this way! I would love a keyboard with RGB, but if it can't work together with my mouse in the same program, then what's the point of buying one? It's taking to long and we are not happy! :mad_:

Olivier_286I went even further than your suggestion ... I quit all my Razer devices after waiting far too long for "One Version Non beta" that would control all my devices. Sooo Glad I did the move away from Razer & now have a full set of Steelseries devices running under ONE version of software thats not a beta & they all work perfectly.... Razer has to be losing customers over this software debacle...how many...who knows...maybe Razer dont care?

I have the DeathAdder mouse, BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 keyboard, Razer Nostromo, and the Kraken 7.1 Vers. 2 headset. Looks like I won`t be switching to Synapse 3 any time soon.

MrFreezer4Just want to point out. if you want it this bad. you could always program your own integration software. And I'm going to go ahead and assume you don't know how to do that. so instead you could just be patient and wait. While you want your naga epic chroma to be updated to synapse 3... I'm sure someone else wants their kraken 7.1 V2 updated as well. they have a lot to work on. Also here is a question you should ask yourself. "I wonder why they could have possibly put the BETA next to it?". In case you didn't know the exact definition of a beta test is, "a trial of machinery, software, or other products, in the final stages of its development, carried out by a party unconnected with its development." in other words... ITS NOT FINISHED YET. yes so while it may not be rocket science, it still takes quite a bit of time and effort. So the least you could do is show a little bit of patience.

Thankfully the Legacy Synapse 2 version still works. Corsair for example dropped all support for their working full featured software for their coolers etc, and released ICUE. Which barely supports their legacy coolers. Gotta give props to Razer for keeping their Synapse 2 working while working out Synapse 3s issues.

Yeeticus007Three years in beta, still buggy, still missing legacy devices. What's your definition of "patience" ???

LusabitYou are open-minded enough to realize that their synapse software isn't the ONLY thing that they do... right? now correct me if I'm wrong but Didn't they just release the BRAND NEW razer viper along with the Gears 5 Lineup? And lets not forget that they are opening a brand new store tomorrow. They are constantly working on something... and right now they have a program that works. sure It may be Buggy and missing legacy devices. But think about it from a business point of view for a second. "Hey we can release a new software system to go along with every new device that we make... and who knows maybe that will convince some people to buy some of our newer stuff. And while were at it we will OCASSIONALY throw in one of the old legacy devices to synapse 3." Also on top of looking at it that way... we have no idea as to what their next update will be and big it will be. for all we know instead of trying to get more legacy devices on to synapse, maybe they are trying to address the other biggest issue and trying to get synapse working on Mac OS. Where I am going with all this, Is that Three years really isn't that long. So I can wait a bit longer. I am willing to be patient for a great company.

xARACHN1DI just want to point out that we are not paying hundreds of dollars to a certain company to write our own software, for the devices it makes, OK? They are a big company and as such they should have the enough people in each department. What if I am a programmer, you think I have the free time to write software for a company this big for free? Are you out of your mind? These are products meant for gamers, not coders, correct me if I'm wrong, please. Synapse has been in beta 3 years... 3.long.years.... and they are working only on importing the new devices, because f us right? We are just a bunch of idiots, we will get the new products anyway... Being patient for a great company? P.LEASE... this "great" company is going downtown fast, because of their "dev department", if they even have one... they are probably paying a third party company to write their code. And yes I've been patiently waiting for my Kraken 7.1 V2 to become supported... guess what, I'm out of patience. This is pathetic...

ARMOR_152@ xARACHN1D: perhaps you see, that your arguments are nonsense ?
They're 3 years old and end of lifed. Great headset though even if they're still on Synapse 2. They're only worth ~$90 new it looks like. All the current Synapse 3 supported items are here: https://www.razer.com/synapse-3

LusabitPerhaps, you would see that in my post, if you actually would have read it and the previous one before it, that when I said 3 years isn't that long, I was regarding synapse and its time in beta, not the actual products themselves. I take the time to actually read others comments before posting a reply.

xARACHN1DOkay, I see, you are not able to understand the relationships. I will explain: To be patient and wait for a functioning driver until a product has reached it's end of life is simply nonsense ! A hardware product, that is sold, has to be sold including working software, at least when it is neccessary for full usage. Waiting until end of life, and never getting the software to use it, is not patience, but foolish.

LusabitYou say that as If Legacy is not a functioning driver. My brother uses it for his Tiamat Headphones and Synapse 2.0 works perfectly fine. and I was talking about synapse 3, not synapse 2. Which by the way, those headphones with a three year life span, were running with synapse 2.0

LusabitSynapse 2 runs completely fine and is fully functional. All products that use it are still working like the day they were brand new.

xARACHN1DSynapse2 doen't work well. e.g. it's not able to recognice and switch profiles quickly ! But didn't talk about Syn2, it runs fairly well. But it's only working well for people only using legacy devices. Most Razer fans have newer devices, that need Synapse 3. And that's, where the problems arise. Both drivers installed make heavy problems, besides the problem, that you cannot synchronise profiles. Therefor the users want a single functioning driver. At least we have been talking about Syn3 beeing in beta (because buggy) for more than 3 years, no matter how much fanboys want to argument against it.

xARACHN1DBecause only using Synapse2 is only half of the truth ! Most of us (not me anymore, and that costs me a lot of money) are forced to use two incompatible drivers of the same "premium" company. There would be no problem, if we could stay with Syn2, as it is, for all old and new products, and it would be okj, if we could stay with a Syn3 without beta and bugs. But both is not possible ! That's not acceptable.
Then why did you use ARMOR's quote about how His device only lasted 3 years. His device used synapse 2.
