Hello, should you receive an installer failure notice while trying to re-install the Synapse 2.0 1.84 or 1.87 mouse and keyboard driver the workaround is to turn back the clock on your system and then the certificate wont be expired. That's some high level security Apple, way to go! I went back two years but since the certificate expired July 22, 2022 at 3:43 AM EST then setting your clock to any time before this should probably be OK. Don't forget to return the correct date afterwards and this can be done before the reboot - good luck!

I can confirm this has worked for me to install the software, now I'm being blocked by not being able to open it. I need allow "system software" to have access, but not able to select that option.
Hello, what OS and what version of Synapse. Please look at your Security & Privacy system preference panel. In the General tab allow third party apps and as well look at the Privacy tab for Accessibility
Also off topic, wanted to add that in Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6 Synapse 2.0 v1.84 seems a bit more stable than 2.0 v1.87
if the certificate is included in the software and this certificate expires,
then the manufacturer needs to download new certificates for the software again
then the manufacturer needs to download new certificates for the software again
also include the new certificates inside the software
therefore an update is required for this
