Help needed to disable keys in game

I used to have one of the first Blackwidow keyboards that used synapse 1. I now have a Blackwidow v3 that uses synapse 3. I cant seem to work out how to disable the Cap key and tilde when playing games. In the old software it was a simple thing to do, but i cant seem to find a way of doing it. Please can someone give me some direction on how this is done
