how to assign Extend monitor to custom button?

Hi, I tried to assign a shortcut exe of " C:\\Windows\\System32\\DisplaySwitch.exe /external "to a custom button, it opens the side panel as if you pressed WIN+P but it doesn't actually press the extend so it doesn't fully work. how do I solve this? thanks

Which Windows version compilation do you have? For me on W10 Pro 2004 version it's working correctly - it opens side panel, and about 1 sec later it switches to external only.

Win 10 home latest version, did you do the same thing I did? ie a shortcut with a target path of C:\\Windows\\System32\\DisplaySwitch.exe /extend or you have another way around? thanks

Yes - did the same - created a shortcut for it, also bound a key combination on the shortcut to CTRL + SHIFT + 1, and it's working flawlessly.
