How to make a Macro button change color when active? Huntsman V2 Analog

I have multiple macros that I want some sort of indication they are active so when I switch screens or what have you I can disable them before doing so, as to not cause issues with Windows. In the past I have successfully created these effects but with mild success. I had the macro button Spectrum Cycle when the macro was toggled on, but it wasn't always in sync (i.e. in some instances when the macro was off the cycling would be active indicating the macro was active when it wasn't). I also accomplished this previously with a Blackwidow Chroma v2, but have not been successful doing this with the Huntsman? am I missing something or is it not possible with the Huntsman? and if not can someone help me relay this information to the powers that be to add this control into synapse?
