Hello, I am on macOS High Seirra. When I try to download razer synapse 2, it shows the error message "the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail" I was wondering if there was any fix as I recently got my new huntsman mini and would like to customize some macros and the lighting. Thank you!

Installation error
I had the same problem but managed to get it (mostly) working by going into System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Input Monitoring and allowing RzUpdater.app and RzDeviceEngine.app. You may need to add them by going to the + and looking in [your-startup-drive]→ Library→ Application Support → Razer. I found them by using an app called EasyFind (by devontechnologies). If they are not there you could extract them from the package and copy them there.
I do not use the driver any more. I now use Karabiner-Elements (by pqrs). See my other post for more info.
