Hello Everyone,
I have a Razer Naga Trinity and I love the color options. But whenever I sleep or restart my Mac, My mouse's colors turn to black and I can't open Razer Synapse. I am on MacOS Mojave, and I don't want to downgrade because Mojave is so good. Please, developers, add support for macOS Mojave for Synapse 2 until synapse 3 is available for Mac.

Yes please, I'm developer and using Razer keyboard with my macbook pro. My keyboard Blackwidow elite and none of the effects are work. Please provide macos version of synapse or add support in synapse 2
I've been struggling with Synapse on Mac for years, the experience is not great. For a while, Synapse would chew up all of my ram and CPU power on my MBP. It got so bad I just deleted it. It would often create new profiles on it's own too, are you experiencing that issue? I also experienced that lighting issue on my BW Chroma in the past. That problem disappeared when I deleted Synapse...
as for the new profiles, once it happened, when I was changing the keyboard shortcuts bound to the buttons on my Naga Trinity / Chroma (I have both) and I did not do new profiles, I was updating existing profile with new settings and next day I would have 3 or 4 new profiles connected to each app I have profiles for.
deleting the profiles did not help, they would just pop back into the drop-down menu after a few seconds. very frustrating. no problems with the Ornata Chroma, though, just with mice. I contacted the Razer support, asked for reset of my Razer Cloud and fortunately, it worked.
about the Chroma settings - I can set colors on Naga Trinity but cannot on Naga Chroma - Razer Synapse simply crashes when I want to change the colours.

this isnt a bug, it's been designed this way. Only the macros / keyboard shortcuts will save to the onboard profile.
lighting effects wont save.

was this a reply to my post? because on Apple computer with Mac OS I cannot even use the mouse's onboard memory ... there is no option to do this.
on my other Logitech mouse I can do that ...
I also use a chroma device on my Macbook Pro Running Mojave. I'ld like to limit the colors to specified ones and change the default animations. Also functional keys without FN button would be nice. So please fix Synapse Razer. It really is a pain to use your software on macOS.
Hello @ ALL. I am new here and I am owner of a new Razer Blackwidow Elite and want to use it under macOS Mojave.
Various key combinations do not work, such as the "@" character. Here under the letter "Q" to find. Available on the Mac keyboard with "option - L", the elite are reluctant to spit out an "@" somehow.
I thought I could change the software side and started Synapse 2 version 1.85. I only got the error message:
"Please Connect a Razer Synapse Enabled Device"
No @, no color selection, etc.
Does anyone have any idea why, or is there a fix for synapse 2?

Synapse 2 doesn't support black widow elite, You need synapse 3 and Razer doesn't provide it for Mac. That is available only for windows. I have black widow elite keyboard too and have MacBook Pro, Except keyboard feature nothing work. No lighting effects, no colors....etc And Razer don't gave publish date or any information whether prepare for Mac or not.
Man, I really need to get a newer Chroma product so I can see what you guys are talking about.
I'm on Mojave with my MBP, and all of my color features work fine on my older devices ... but the only newer device I have is the Goliathus Extended Chroma, which of course only gives me a Spectrum Cycling option last time I checked.

Yes, Synapse often slows down my entire machine even after I follow the instructions on this website to provide it with full system access using the privacy tab in system settings.
