On Screen Confirmation

Does anyone know if you can enable on-screen notifications when you press a key on the keyboard. For example when I press CAPS LOCK, text appears on the screen saying CAPS LOCK. If so where do you select this option. I figured this would be a setting in synapse but can't find it.
