Very weird. A google search only shows my query. The data doesn't appear to go to the Internet so maybe it is recording usage locally then sending a summary back to base. About 2gb of data is sent through the port and not the internet every couple of days. Probably just usage data as I said that I've probably agreed to at some point. Just very strange that literally nobody has ever asked about it.
