This issue appears to be on going, Razer is taking a kicking on line of late, for being expensive and lazy with its software and build quality.. its really annoying one my new dock works on every other razer item i have bar the dock. useless.

It looks like I am not the only person that is going through this crazy problem and it has been going on for years.

This is disappointing as I have come from my old Razer Viper Ultimate that had the charger dock with the pegs and had no problem with the lights even though had some on and off problems with the mouse to charge properly in the pegs.

As this is something I needed for the light to be turned off when the PC is of and I don’t want to be playing to much with the computer itself settings I am not sure if the best work around would be to get a USB C switch. I see them on Amazon for around £9-£15 so when not being used or PC is off and I want to turn of the light I could just push or switch it if by using a physical switch. Do you think this will work?

It is straight up beyond pathetic that 3 years since the thread was opened this hasn’t been fixed...

It's still unresolved. These crazy guys are posting to synapse 4, and even though I still turn off PC, DogPro shines brightly and interferes with my sleep. It doesn't make sense to turn it off and on every time. Other devices normally emit light with PC, so why just this? I don't want to know the charging signs... I hope the design will participate in the development of any more new products and not poop

All we can do is keep adding to it, but I think we all know the tag line made by gamers for gamers is a nothing now.. it's just money and how can we do as little as possible for maximum extraction.

I’m in the same boat as some other folks in this thread.  I came from a Viper Ultimate with the bundled dock (running Synapse 4), and had no issues with the lighting staying off when the computer was off (and not charging the mouse).  The dock was connected to an externally powered USB hub (where the PC itself is configured to keep the ports off on shutdown).  The only reason I moved away from that mouse was the fact that the battery finally died (5.5 years later).

The new setup is the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K (Black) and the Dock Pro 8k.  With the mouse docked (and PC powered off), both devices will always remain lit even when fully charged (which I believe was the same behavior as the Viper Ultimate).  However, when the mouse is disconnected, the lighting will remain off.  The dock, on the other hand, will just stay lit in the default lighting mode (since Synapse is not there to control it).  The only time the dock itself will keep the lighting off is when the PC is on and the monitor is off (where all of the devices will honor that setting).  I have even made sure that both of those devices have the latest firmware installed. -- Very frustrating considering how long this thread has been going on for.
