Razer Nari Essential microphone stopped working

After the latest synapse update the microphone sound is not picked up by Discord and other apps. Tried to reinstall synapse, audio drivers, play with the settings but with no success.

While configuring the microphone sound in synapse and pressing on Test Microphone I can hear myself, so the sound is picked up there, but for any other app the microphone is not picked up

Is there a way to rollback the synapse software or did you find any solution for this?.

If anyone else is looking for a solution, I followed the guide from here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5776/~/how-to-use-the-device-detection-troubleshoot-tool

Was going to try this afterwards but first tool fixed it for me: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1640/~/razer-nari-firmware-updater-%7C-rz04-02680

I’ve recently had problems with my Razer Nari Essential mic not working. I use windows 11, I don’t have any Razer software installed as I’ve had problems with it before.

I fixed the problem by going to the audio settings in whatever application I’m using(discord for example), and changing the device from razer nari essential(windows default) to razer nari essential.

Just selecting the headset instead of the windows default apparently was all I needed to do.

This is on a laptop that has a built in microphone, and yes I did check which device was selected in windows and the microphone privacy settings.
