I have 2 computers, both of which I game on, but one also doubles as my work machine, well the machine I do work-related stuff on. Regardless, both have the same Razer Keyboard and Mouse. A Naga Trinity mouse, and Ornata Keyboard to be exact. There are times when they are both on, and in use by me. Razer Synapse doesn't seem to like this as, from what I can tell, it is constantly polling for profile information, and having 2 simultaneous logins seems to cause confusion. The symptom is that on both of the machines I get messages that pop up asking which profile do I wish to use, local, cloud, or ask later. It doesn't matter what I select, as this popup will appear again later on, especially if I'm hopping back and forth between computers. Most of the time the second and subsequent pop up's happen behind the game I'm playing, but not always. If I'm not playing in a fullscreen window that game will pause, go black then completely minimize just so I can answer the Synaps pop up. Which, when I'm in the middle of a match in some FPS games, is rather frustrating, to say the least. The only solution is to completely shut down Razor Synapse on the one I'm using for work. Not that it all that difficult, but I don't see why it should come down to that. The worst part about it is the things I could see the need for this constant connection don't even occur. I've seen the lighting profile fail/get corrupted and end up with no lit keys. You would think that consistent polling would detect something like that so it can reapply the profile, but no, I have to manually go in and either change the settings to something else then go back or reboot the computer and everything works fine. So I don't understand why this constant connection is needed particularly on the machine that isn't running a game. I don't know if turning off the few notifications that I've allowed from Razer will help with things. Based on the text in options it shouldn't. So I don't know. Seriously not looking for a workaround, as I can stop things easily enough, just hoping that the software could accommodate situations like this a bit more.
For those that want to know, as part of the work I do, I may have to render out images or video clips with or without effects added, or do software builds. The last one being the most common task as I'm iterating through an application that we're working on as my primary job. I also have experience and a degree in traditional media work, so that's why from time to time I get to do that also. It's nice as it mixes up the daily tasks to make work interesting. However, these things take time, and I don't want to do much with the system while it's going through the process, as it just needs to get done as soon as possible. And yes, we've talked about using cloud-based render/build farms but, meh, so far this works for everybody involved, especially me. But, while that's happening, and if I'm all caught up on emails, and various internet research, it's game time until the render or builds is done, then it's back to work.

Hi there! Thanks for posting your concern here. Have you tried using a dummy Razer Synapse account and see if the issue still persists? If it does, please send me a PM so I can assist you further. Let's continue from there.
