So had a weird problem yesterday. On boot up razer central notified me of an update in progress to synapse, saw the pop up with progress running.

Didn't pay much attention, box went away while it as browsing the web, no games or major software running.

A short time later I noticed all my aRGBs were running an a random default colors. Figured I just needed to select the profile again, no big deal.

But none of the razer aps were on my task bar, and when I went to look through my start menu and apps, no software was found. Folders still existed but nothing could run except central, and when I went to it's app page it showed every other razer software with the only option being "install"

Haven't gone in to see if any of my profiles exist after the fact, my modules for controlling other brands were gone and at that point it was late.

Any advice on why/how? How to I prevent this from happening again?
