Synapse security concerns

Hello, I have a couple of Razer devices. However the company I am working on blacklisted the SW due to the article below from last year: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/razer-bug-lets-you-become-a-windows-10-admin-by-plugging-in-a-mouse/ Would anyone know if the SW got patched to resolve that security issue? I can't find SW control version on the website, so it is hard to tell if security issues are resolved. Thanks
