Synapse through VMWare

I'm using a razer setup for work (tartarus/naga) and up until this last Monday I had no issues. I have certain scripts and other things that worked fine via the "Text Function". The naga still works flawlessly but the tartarus just isn't useable anymore until the issue is resolved. I run Win10 on the physical machine and that's where I run Synapse. (I'm not authorized to install applications in the VMWare client) I open up notepad in the VDI and hit my G key for a simple (gpupdate) text function. It types in just fine. I press a key for a different text function net (user xx /domain) but it still types in the gpupdate. Press the second key 5 more times and still get gpupdate. Press it repeatedly and finally after a random number of times it types the correct text. I have tried the Macro function as well and have the exact same issue. I'm not sure what went wrong. Any ideas?
