why is it still beta?

Both applications, Chroma and Synapse, flicker with GSYNC ON, and sometimes even when GSYNC is set to full screen only.

Customized Chroma profiles per game do not always switch correctly to the created Chroma profile for each game and may get stuck in between.

The Chroma Visualizer app flickers heavily and does not always engage correctly.

Other than that, I like the new concept .

There is no scroll-settings.  and yet there seems to be a hard-coded value of 27-lines which is really too much and it overrides the windows settings everytime the software restarts.

waiting for x570 too.

I think a 400-dollar product worth the priority.

Bindings to the “Cycle Up Scroll Wheel Stages” and “Cycle Up Sensitivity Stages” just do not work. They trigger their defaults regardless of profile.

Have a game profile set up with different button allocations. Every few minutes, despite playing the game in fullscreen mode and not tabbing out, the profile will revert to the normal desktop profile. Only tabbing out and then back in will “remind” Synapse that it needs to use the game profile again… and then a few minutes later it’s the same. Rinse and repeat.

Back to Synapse 3 again I guess!

The development speed of Synapse 4 is staggering...

On the keyboard (razer blackwidow chroma RZ03-0122) in SYNAPSE BETA v4.0.302 it is not possible to program the keys in standard and Hypershift mode (Gaming mode also does not work)

Blade 14, 2024 model? Are we going to see this any time soon? Love the laptop, but Synapse 3 leaves a bit to be desired, frankly...

Could you answer a doubt of mine about The New Synapse Beta? 🙏🏻 👀

I saw at least 4 ways to send feedback to Razer. It is confusing to know which is the better for what I want to report.

A time ago I sent a bug report via item 1, and the support team only understood that I was talking about Synapse Beta after some tiresome messages, before that they thought I was reporting Synapse 3 bugs. It seems the Feedback feature does not separate what system is used when we are reporting. And the support team uses a lot of generical answers.

From what I understood, Insider's forum is for users to help users and some bugs are clearly dev issues that need to be reported directly to the dev team, after all, we are in the beta phase.

I've tried item 3 sometimes, but it seems to be a place for something more critical and exclusively for people who understand code language.

On Discord I didn't find a server exclusive for Synapse Beta and it seems Discord is like Insider's Forum, where users help users mostly.

So, the question is: where is the best place to report bugs I've found with Synapse Beta? I mean, not to get help from the support team, but to help devs to make the Synapse Beta better, and, who knows, help transform the beta into something closer to an official launch.

But the version that installer wants to install is still 4.0.302, which is from April.

I got a update today that added my “Razer Stream Controller” into the beta, I am happy but it still needs a update for the plugins in the Loupedeck market place for it to fully work like with Synapse 3.

But all in all I am happy that all my current Razer devices are compatible now.  Thank you Razer tech team

Does anyone have the Snap Tap in this Synapse version?

Sadly, while definitively an improvement, Chroma App has some serious issues, mainly crashing while game is running or not switching profile after exiting the game. It still needs more time in the oven.

Suddenly, all my macros just disappeared. 😱
I have many folders. Inside these folders, there were many macros.
Outside of folders, I only have 2 macros.
I sync every day with the cloud.
After noticing that all the macros inside all the folders were gone, and only the external macros were ok, I restarted my PC logged out, and logged in to Synapse Beta to see if anything changed.
After that, all folders were deleted and all external macros were also gone.

I had something like that happen to me but with my “Chroma Studio” custom profiles are gone, I am thinking something is up with the cloud save service maybe.

Annoying popup of low battery every 5 min even started to appear when the mouse still had 38% battery left

Please add some settings so we can enable/disable it and lower the % under which we want the popup to show up

So it is not only with me. hmmm.
I've noticed since I started to use the New Synapse Beta again that most of the time I adjust and save a macro the New Synapse asks me to choose what archive to use "local" or "cloud". I thought it strange and thought they were not saving correctly in the cloud because of this alert, so I always chose "local". But, yesterday, after I chose "local" every macro had gone. And after logging out and logging in, the folders too. But after a second logging out and logging in the folders came back, except the macros.
