THX Spatial audio STILL not working after Synapse update

Same, no changes after yesterday update.

Same here with the Blackshark V2 Pro

I also have a Blackshark V2. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall synapse. In the process I also uninstalled THX audio (the standalone extra application). 
 

After reinstalling Synapse, the THX Spatial Audio slider/button works. The EQ works. There is no longer a THX speaker to choose in windows speaker list. But the Razer sound card one should be used instead. This is according to revision notes from the synapse update.

BUT! The sound quality is SO bad! I’ve bought myself a new Logitech headset!! The sound quality of the black shark v2 after reinstalling synapse :: it feels like you are in a tin box. I can’t hear footsteps in PUBG before the enemy is standing 5 meters from me, the sound signature of weapon changes when you turn around (I.e. if you hear someone firing behind you, and then turn around, it sounds like a different weapon, and the distance sounds completely different. I actually get a bit, like vertigo, or dizzy, just from turning around in PUBG while listening to someone firing a weapon. 
 

Let me know if any of you can get back thx by uninstalling and reinstalling, and what the sound quality is like afterwards. Thanks

Still not working after uninstalling synapse on my kraken te. Extremely infuriating that they would break something that worked perfectly fine.

Mine works now.  DELETE / UNINSTALL from your apps …. this

ALSO…. as Razer instructs you to do …. in your “ windows sound properties “ set Razer USB sound card as default !!  and in your “ windows settings “  set your sound to Razer USB sound card ….. 

restart your machine, check theses settings again ….    BE HAPPY

I had four of these listed in my programs list for some reason, I just uninstalled all of them :/

I uninstalled this and it at least took away the actual THX spatial sound and its just stereo. Cant figure out how to even get this driver back

Equalizer don’t work, nothing is working with latest update. The sound overall is so bad! Blackshark v2

So i had this same issue where I uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything CLEAN and the EQ wouldn’t work and the THX wouldn’t make a difference.. So i snooped around for a good while and found out something wasn’t running. So I did a clean install and so my fix was this after the clean install still didn’t work..And make sure the THx in the control panel is uninstalled so a fresh one is put in by Synapse 3 when you re-install it..

1. Hit CTRL-R and type in “msconfig”
2. Go to service and check the box that says “Hide all Microsoft Services”
3. Scroll till you find a service called “VSSrv” and make sure it’s running.. And the Manufacture says THx Ltd. Which is the EQ in Synapse 3.  Let me know if this worked!!

I don’t have any ‘’VSSrv’’ in my computer, what can i do? 

I’ve made full clean reinstall (uninstalled Synapse) and all Razer related stuff, then used this tool to remove lefovers: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj → PC restart, downloaded fresh Synapse 4 installer.

Now seems that THX is working for me (still I don’t use this) or maybe it worked after one update (few days after Synapse reinstallation, but the version still shows some 202412...)

EQ is still not working and waiting for a fix.
